I stopped in to my local dealer today and ran into the owner. I had planned on buying outright as I keep my cars forever, but he did a good job of opening my mind to a lease. Said the technology will become obsolete long before it goes mechanically. Replacement of "head unit" (controls everything) would be about $10-12K! I imagine in 10 years you probably couldn't get one at any price.

Yes, indeed. When I was about to return to college for sophomore year after I bought my first Airedale pup, I called my roommate and said, "I'm bringing my dog. He's an Airedale". He said, "I'm bringing my dog. She's an Airedale!". 40 years later, he's still my best friend. So, yeah, I'll be stylin' in my Stinger with my Airedale doggie, too!

Lease numbers are out now. Looks like a RWD GT2 will be 645 a month with no down-payment and 585 with a down payment. What do you guys think?

I just got a quote from Sunshine Kia in Miami, FL....

"Okay sir. Here is where we are at. With the 1,000 dollar deposit, for 36 months you would be at 623.00 a month. For 48 months your at 580.00. This is based on the Base GT model. which is 39,250.00

If you absolutely want the numbers for the 49,000k GT2 I can get them for you. Just know that the payment will be in the 700.00 dollar mark."

You might not be able to, or maybe that number already is.
1) the quote on the web page does not include TTL or the destination fee. ( So add 900 for the destination fee, 300-500 for plates and registration, plus whatever you sales tax is in your state. (6.5% here - $3,445) and add that all into the lease. The 700 is probably accurate.
2) the quote is based on MSRP. The dealer can sell the car for whatever they think you'll pay for it.
