What do you think my whp/wtq numbers are (should be) with the mods below.

2019 3.3 GT AWD

Mods:
  • Injen Intakes
  • Magnaflow Exhaust
  • Ark Performance Secondary Downpipes
  • WMI Kit (Upgraded Lines, BM10 Injection Nozzle)
  • Mishimoto Intercooler
  • HKS Plugs
  • ECU Dyno Tune For 93 Octane
  • JB4 Tune for WMI
  • JB4 EWG Add On Connectors
~ I'll reveal the actual numbers after getting your thoughts! ;)

Should be more than stock. How much? Impossible to tell without before and after dyno test.

i'll give you a hint, after only these 3 mods, Injen Intakes, Magnaflow Exhaust & HKS Plugs, it dyno’d...

338 whp
362 wtq

...where would you guess it landed once everything else was done?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
460-470hp is my guess. 🙂

I’ll guess 443 and 472. I’ll also say, depending on what map you are running in on the JB4.

thanks to everyone who guessed!

the average guess was 457whp/481wtq

and my numbers are...
425whp/503wtq

i've always felt my whp numbers were low and knew my wtq numbers were good. your input basically supports this. :)

That's with wmi spraying? Interesting. I guess there are many factors to dyno runs. Ambient temps being one, tune, fueling ect. I was kinda expecting a bit more with wmi since you likely don't have e85 available. Is it a custom ecu tune?

I recently went from jb4 map 3 with fuel/ewg wires to KJT's e30 tune + bms tcu and the difference in power is pretty nuts.

yeah. my numbers were after the wmi setup was done. running 93 octane. custom ecu tune through alphaspeed. i've always felt my hp numbers weren't where they should be. i actually sent my jb4 log to SXTH to see if there was room for improvement through their tuning and they said that based on my log, the fuel system is maxed out and there were little to no gains they'd be able to make. they suggested that the fuel system would have to be upgraded first. 🤷‍♂️

I think in general it's more difficult to get good power out of most 91/93 tunes. Just difficult to advance timing without risking knock. Good thing is that you have more options on this platform than before. I wouldn't feel discouraged with your results TBH. Always room for improvements. 🙂

On the stinger with jb4 map 2 running 93 it typically puts down around that 420ish mark. Map 3 with around e30 you typically see in the 430-440ish mark. From there when you do BEF you go up in the 470-480 range with bms ign19 bef jb4 map 4 for example, all which can vary from car to car and what supporting mods it has. The stock turbos don't have much power in the higher rpm range either so those seeking power go for hybrids. Cmbuildz makes a pretty nice budget friendly hybrid setup where the intake portion is ported out but the exhaust side is stock that puts out more power on top end. Anything above 500 hp needs headstuds pretty much anyway. Really depends how deep your pockets are and goals.

Right now KJT is doing some pretty impressive things since I've been following their development and news. What's even more impressive was seeing the bms single turbo stinger in person at the shop when we were doing my bef. They are turning the cars power up even more and likely something will break. They are taking it to the race track soon again. We should see them break the 800 hp mark since they are testing out port injection. They recently also dyno tested a g70 with g25-550 turbos putting down 702whp and 632wtq which KJT helped tune.

You can see the video here:

I think it's really awesome that we seeing the platform get so much attention and development where jb4 with BEF is pushing things on new levels. KJT is working on full ecu and tcu tunes as well which is a surprise so we'll see how that goes. I like also what bms has done with years of experience with their ecu and tcu bef. The tcu bef is so darn good! Definitely a good time to have a stinger! 😁
