Got a unique Panthera Grey with White Interior GT2

I purchased a somewhat unique 2019 Panthera Grey with white Interior Stinger GT2 about a week ago from Hendrick Kia in Cary NC.

This particular dealer ordered 3 identical cars with this unique color combination and I bought one of them.

I had been looking at this car and the 2019 Genesis G70 Design edition. The G70 has a white interior as well but it is ALL white. I mean literally everything is white even the carpets.

The G70 just looked like a disaster waiting to happen with so much of a light interior. Plus it didn’t really have the interior storage or passenger space I was looking for. In addition I didn’t like the green exterior color.

So when I saw the triplet Panthera Grey Stingers I just couldn’t resist getting one. Panthera Grey was my first choice for exterior colors but I thought it was only offered with the black interior for the GT2 models. I wanted Red interior but I also wanted the Panthera Grey.

This car just felt like a great choice for both colors.

I absolutely love the Stinger. Just a fantastic car and loads more power than my previous Infiniti Q50 Silver Sport that I turned in after a 36 month lease this week.

I also ordered a Telluride SX and purchased a 2020 Kia Rio all in the same week from the same dealer. The Telluride will probably take 10 weeks to arrive but we got the Rio right away. The Rio is a great little car. However, I will get into the details of what happened to that car another time.

For now I am loving my Stinger and I plan on debadging it when I get enough time to do it properly.

Let me know what you think of this unique color combination and if you think the All white of the G70 would have been too much.

Also there is a new brown interior for the 2020 Genesis G70. It looks good but I like the white better.

Thanks, I got the all weather mats as well since my daughter rides horses. I lay the all weather mats over the carpet mats when I go to the barn. It seems like I bring half the barn back with me(flies and all) every time I go.

I think you made the right choice Stinger over G70. I agree it's to much white. Me personally though, the white interior would have to grow on me.

What color interior do you have? Once I sat in a car with the Red Interior I thought it was too much. The white grew on me quickly though. Now I love it.

It's in my signature (black) and was the only choice I had. I did see a car my colour at the Woodinville meet with a white interior that I found intriguing but not for me. I like the look enough it's just that my concern with white is dirt getting ground in eventually turning it off white.

Like it, white would be my preference. I thought white/grey leather had been discontinued. I was lead to believe it was only available on the blue car option.

Congrats! PM was one of my top color choice but the red interior had to be in it and they don’t offer that here. Looking good!

Did you not see the warning to not lay the all weather mats over the OE carpet mats? Are you a rebel?

Great color combo! I would have absolutely loved the dark blue with white leather if it was offered here. I still love my white with red interior combo though.

We don’t have the Telluride yet..... and the Rio either now. However, that is a story for another day.

Hopefully, we will get the Rio back sometime next week.

Really nice looking color combination. Good luck keeping it clean on the inside. Think you made the right choice over the G70 for interior space and trunk size (and if I'm not mistaken no space saver spare tire). I'd like to see that green exterior available for the Stinger.

I have the same combo GT2 down here in Austin. Love how rare it is. As far as how it’s held up after 5 months, 9200 miles, with a toddler. I’d say it’s pretty easy to keep clean. No kick marks from her as we have a “no shoe” rule in the car lol

Thanks for that report on the durability. Your car was actually what inspired me to seek out this unique color combination. I didn’t think it existed until I saw your post about it.

Congrats on keeping it clean with a toddler. I have teenagers and I struggle to keep it clean. It is really difficult to keep the stains out when I take it to the barn so my daughter can ride her horse. Definitely “no shoes” in the car in that case. Everything goes in the trunk with the rear “all weather mats” laid out over the trunk carpet.

With the white seats I think your biggest issue will be blue jeans bleeding onto them. There's plenty of youtube videos available that explain how to remove the dye though.

I don’t own a pair of blue jeans at all. It is just too hard to find jeans in my size(36” inseam 33” waist).

I am most worried about grease stains. Even teenagers have grubby little hands sometimes. My son climbs a lot so he usually has chalk hands when he gets in the car coming home from the gym. That stuff can be hard to get out and it usually isn’t a pure white like you would expect it to be.

The white interior of the Stinger is quite striking. It really is WHITE where some other interiors like the G70 are an off white.

I really like it but I understand how some people would say it is a bit much. The contrast of the light with the dark colors is what I really prefer.

I liked the Red interior best before I saw the white interior. Now I like the Red interior is just too much Red.

It is really great that they have offered options for everyone’s taste. I came From Infiniti cars where your interior choices were much more limited.
