You want to talk about a cash grab using cameras: in London, I was driving in c. 6 MPH traffic nearly the whole time (over part of two days). What did I get in the mail two months after we got home? A fine, for something I didn't even know about; might have been a minor violation like a verboten lane change to avoid "going around aaagain", most likely; it sure as hell wasn't for speeding!? It was for eighty bucks American, iirc. Pissed me off, and still does just remembering it, aaagain.Yes. I am in CA. I've decided to not put it on and take my chances. I have beyond legal window tint in the front anyways, so might as well get extra risky. haha
Speaking of traffic cameras...I was working in Calgary over the summer. They have cameras set up there that tag you for speeding and actually take pictures. It's the biggest cash-grab crock of shit I've ever seen. And their fines for speeding are ridiculous.
I think the emblem painted in white will look hot too.
Is that a silicone license plate? I love how it looks!
You know what "they" say, "A picture is worth a thousand words." You've mentioned that you darkened the "Stinger" script twice now.I painted the OEM badge with "Shadow chrome black-out" which is a near-perfect match for the black chrome trim.
You guys have hijacked my thread. haha
White looks really great but is virtually invisible at a distance (i.e. in traffic) and shows accumulated grunge. I'm proud of it being a Stinger, so I want it to be seen. I painted the OEM badge with "Shadow chrome black-out" which is a near-perfect match for the black chrome trim.
Yes, silicone, works well with our white plates on a white car.
I put a silicone plate holder I got off of Amazon on my rear plate. I bought a second one for the front, but I'm not sure I'm going to use it just yet... gotta figure out the mount first.Silicone plates work well. Easy to install.
I have yet to use it on my Stinger though as I'm waiting on the license plates.
The good news is, America won't extradite you for $80. And England has no way to collect until you go back. And I doubt they're so interconnected that they'll force you to pay at customs should you ever return...You want to talk about a cash grab using cameras: in London, I was driving in c. 6 MPH traffic nearly the whole time (over part of two days). Lol, you necromancer, you. This is how I manage to put things out of my mind: take care of them pronto: I sent them a cheque and never looked back. The good news is, America won't extradite you for $80. Is that your Stinger in the picture on Slybracket's website? If so, did you order the 2-screw or 4-screw plate holder and how did you mount it?Sly Bracket. Use this to mount your plate in the middle of the bumper without drilling holes.

That one isn't mine. I'm in Texas and mine's red. It mounts behind the honeycomb grill and I think it was just 2 screws. I told them exact make and model and they sent the bracket if I recall correctlyIs that your Stinger in the picture on Slybracket's website?
