I see this subject has the attention of many. My state requires a front plate (so they can catch us on the cameras). After receiving enough fix it tickets for NO displayed front plate (different vehicles), I decided to take a new approach this time. My profile pics show I have a full sized mounted readable license plate with; no airflow interference - no drilled holes in my bumper - no camera operation interference. As much as I wanted to mount a motorcycle plate up front (which would fit in the small space on the bumper), California had no way of getting both sizes. Thus far - no issues and no ticket. That's not to say it won't happen.. My ONLY drawback thus far is a large dip poses potential for a scrape on the plate. I'll post more detailed pics once I take them. db
Can you post more pictures of this?

I’m installing this soon. Discount code: Stinger15

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
WhiteSnowGT: Here are a few quick photos. The backside of my license plate has a microfiber cloth glued to it to prevent any chaffing or damage to paint. Thus far - none! I bent the plate in two folds and then adhered the cloth. After dry, just attached the plate to the lower bumper lip using rubber twist ties from The Home Depot. The plate can easily be removed simply by untwisting the ties. I'm happy to report - no issues from the CHP or local police so far. The plate has seen triple digits once and has never moved in all the miles driven. AND - NO interference with the airflow!! Good luck in your path to find what works best for you! db

Need help all! I bought the iDJMToy tow hook mount for my 2020 Stinger GT but I don't think the tow bar is long enough. I screwed it all the way into the tow hook and attached the mount and license plate and it's touching my car, (scratched the bumper with one of the license plate screws because I'm an idiot). Am I installing it wrong? Is there a piece of hardware that I'm missing? This is driving me nuts.

Here are the pics. I just put the mount on without the plate to show you. When I tilt the mount a bit, it helps a little, but the tow bar doesn't stick out as much as I thought. Did you put the license plate on the mount, then screw it on to the tow bar? What order did you put it on the car?IMG_3354.jpgIMG_3355.jpgIMG_3356.jpgIMG_3357.jpg

I'd very much love to see what you did... seems like you changed your profile pic, though. Got pics you can share? I'm in the same boat as a Washingtonian and I just got to the point in my ownership story where I'm required to slap those plates on... I'd rather figure out a front-mount solution before a cop or a camera tells me the hard way...

Clever!

A little weird, NGL... but I love that you achieved most of the objectives with minimal investment.

How's it fare in an automated car wash? My local municipality has pretty much banned car-washing at home due to runoff that goes to salmon streams, etc.
