I am totally on board with nuclear. But in current political climate i don't see it happening. Building fossil fuels power stations defeats the purpose. And going solar or wind is just a wet dream.Btw we get around 60% from fossil fuels, 20% from nuclear and 20% from renewables. So we'll have to triple the number of nuclear stations to seriously consider going all electric. And i dont see how we can increase output that big from renewables, considering how unreliable it is. Thermo nuclear power will change the game, IF it ever happensNote the Norway line-- pretty damn good! Norway pretty much gets all of its electricity from nuclear. All over Europe and North America nuclear plants are being shut down. California traded all its nuclear plants for rolling blackouts.
Solar energy provided about 2.8% of total U.S. electricity and about 13.5% of electricity generation from renewable energy in 2021. (Just slightly better than Germany)
