One thing forgot to mention is that since getting the exhaust and springs put on the yellow triangle information icon appears on the dash. Is that something that needs to be reset or cleared?

You shouldn’t have any warning lights on the DIS after spring install. If it’s feeling floaty and you have a warning light it’s possible they didn’t reconnect one of the wiring harnesses on a strut. There is one on each corner.

Take it back to the shop and have them inspect it.

I will have them take a look at this. Thank you. Also - i did get the borla exhaust installed at the same time so i thought it might be related to the exhaust. Either way will have them take a look at it. Thanks!

There isn’t anything electronic that the exhaust would impact. Its gotta be suspension related.

I believe they take a little while to settle and when they do they drop a little further. I have had no issues with bouncing and they certainly do not ride rough.

To me they feel like a quality product and an improvement. I've had the springs on 4 months. One thing also they do not stop the rear waggle/wallow/ step out under accereration sensation, to me it eased very fractionally. Theres enough waggle there for my exhaust specialist to ask me under heavy acceleration "What was that? I said that's the Kia welcome salute lol.

Damn. I was told they would help take away that sensation. What would? Rear sway bars?

Thanks for everyone's help. I took the car back today and they found the passenger side EDC wire was loose. Once they reconnected it the issue was resolved. Car drives perfectly and rides, handles better than stock!

I also had them take the Borla Exhaust off and revert back to stock. The exhaust was very loud to the point i couldnt be on the phone in the car.

For me yes it was. I couldn’t even be on the phone.
