Eibach Springs on 2019 GT1 RWD

His camber is worse on back tho but I will let him know.

Yeah it is on mine too. It is adjustable though so he should be able to get close to the in spec range. Then just make sure they don’t toe them.

The tendency is to put the toe back to factory spec but on a lowered car you actually want minimal toe and none is best.

How was the drop? I keep hearing that the front isnt as low as the rear, or at least looks that way? Is that true?

If you go out and look at a stock suspension Stinger they already have a little bit of reverse rake. The Eibach springs just make it more noticeable. I was really concerned about the look after having my springs installed so I looked all over the internet at stock/post Eibach Stingers and noticed they all look the same.

Thanks guys for the great info, will take this to the aligner . One of our friends on a meet (@ShannonC ) after following my car for many miles noted how wide the rear camber was. It would have to be bad for inner tyre wear on an already soft tyre Continental conti contact sport 5.

Do you have a copy of your alignment specs? Can you attach it?

I got this from someone here a while ago, when I went to hand it to the suspension guy he said he didn't need it!FB_IMG_1533935675927.webp FB_IMG_1533935508152.webp

Front is fine.

Rear camber isn’t too bad either but that’s way too much toe. I’d get that down around 2mm or less total toe. It’s out of the parameters for toe but on a lowered car, you want it on the low side otherwise its only going to wear out the inner edge of the tires.

Is there rubbing after installing the lowering springs? Especially with a full car of ppl? Really want to avoid rubbing.. .

I have been with @Ozstung in his car with Eibach lowering springs fitted RWD only & I can tell you no rubbing, we went down a really steep hill that literally makes the car almost bottom out at the base then on a steep windy road going downhill at speed & definitely no rubbing from that experience.

You won’t rub with this drop. It’s not like you’re slamming the car on coil overs. There is still a bit of a gap between fender and tire.

Awesome! Then maybe I need to see who can ship springs to me! Haha

So i had the springs installed today. Car sits nicely but the ride seems very bouncy. I have had springs on other cars and it seems like these ride rougher/bouncier. Anyone else who has these springs experience this and does it go away after the springs settle?

You have Eibach springs? If so, haven’t heard that yet. Getting mine installed this week.

Yeah eibach pro kits springs. Curious to get your feedback.

I am no expert, but maybe they installed them upside down?
Not sure. If they don’t resolve themselves in the next few days will take back to shop and have them look at them.

I believe they take a little while to settle and when they do they drop a little further. I have had no issues with bouncing and they certainly do not ride rough.

To me they feel like a quality product and an improvement. I've had the springs on 4 months. One thing also they do not stop the rear waggle/wallow/ step out under accereration sensation, to me it eased very fractionally. Theres enough waggle there for my exhaust specialist to ask me under heavy acceleration "What was that? I said that's the Kia welcome salute lol.
