My philosophy about my Stinger is that anything that will break on it Kia will have to fix it under warranty. So far my beloved 2018 Stinger Limited has had a couple of failures, all of which were fixed under warranty. the lumbar adjustments of the driver
seat stopped working (fixed by the dealer cleaning the electric air pump inside the
seat), and a year later the right DBL (dynamic bending light) passenger side headlight failed (dealer replaced the whole unit with a new one). But so far that's it. I'm lucky to have an excellent service from my local Kia dealer so far.
On a car in this price range, I wouldn't venture as to try fixing things myself on it, even though I'm a mechanic by trade (not a car mechanic, an industrial mechanic). I paid for that warranty, so Kia must honor it.
