Finished off the heat shields with edging. Job done now.

Great info on this thread, thanks to everyone that contributed.

What heat shields is everyone using? The spectre ones seem pricey for what they are, so looking for some alternatives. Preferably, something that’s ready to go out of the box, not really looking to get super crafty lol.

Also, has anyone had issues with water getting onto the filters? I have velossatech snorkels and live in Florida, so I’m a little worried about water coming directly onto the filter. Would you guys recommend I use a filter cover? If so, let me know what brand you guys would go with.

Driven in rain with mist being kicked up by other vehicles and trucks. Never had an issue. You can always buy filter covers.
