I got my Ceramic/Red GT RWD in Tampa. Was the only one in the Florida at the time
The leather does start to look darker, but a good leather cleaner and consistent upkeep and it still looks good. I do my best to not “slide” into the seat so as not to cause more wear on the bolsters. For those with the red seats/interior, how is the wear? Does it show marks easy? I'm planning on getting the red interior but worried about looking dirty quick
I have 35,600 miles on my car with red interior and it still looks great. As Derek said, it does get a little darker over time but nothing major. I still get compliments on it all the time and I honestly don't clean it very often (but I don't get my seats very dirty). I've only used leather conditioner on it once during ownership. Its pretty durable. For those with the red seats/interior, how is the wear? Does it show marks easy? I'm planning on getting the red interior but worried about looking dirty quick
Pretty true. Sadly I sat in some oil or something one day and it left a small, darker colored area on my red seat. I'm probably the only one who notices it, but I do every time I get in the car. hahaRed and light colored interiors are for show IMO. Dark and black is for everyone else. Too much can go wrong with something stuck to your butt that you can't see. Dark interiors help reduce glare IMO too.
That would look pretty tight.I thought about swapping in red door panels into my black interior. I feel like that would be the best of both worlds. No giant sea of red but no boring all black interior either.
