Getting fitted next Thursday.Any update/upload?
We are all hanging out.......................
Thanx @ezascanbe for the first video of the Aussie Stinger bi-modal exhaustVideo: 2018 Kia Stinger GT 3.3 TT with KiaAU Bi-Modal Exhaust fitted
Thanks for posting clip. Thought it would sound more gruntier but definitely would sound better whilst driven - especially gearing down with paddle shifter. As I mentioned previously the exhaust hooks into the existing car driving modes activated within the cabin. In the video the car is started in 'Eco' mode where the bi-modal is only activate at Idle. The choke is on when the car starts as it's not been started all day. Once idle returns to 1000rpm I gave it revs up to 2000rpm twice. I then change the car into "Sport" mode and give it up to 4500-5000 rpm a few times. After that I return it to "Eco" and do the same.
Hope that doesn’t make you a more aggressive driver, lol. Speeding fines we could all do without!Custom, Comfort and Sport are basically all about the same. Eco is the only one which is only on at idle. The dealer is going to provide the chart I mentioned previously via email. When I get it I'll share it here.
Obviously this video is at the tailpipe. When your in the cabin, you really only hear it when you're opening the throttle. There is a small amount of drone when the valve is closed compared with the stock exhaust but it's negligible considering.
It's really changed the way I feel when I drive the car. Sounds way more aggressive.
Don’t know what exhaust system I’m getting. Guess I’ll find out next Thursday.I think the Borla or ark sytem sounds better. If that’s what you get for $2600+ I’m out as I’m looking for more bark.
Thanks mate, but scary having this position but it’s nice to know lots of Aussie members have been supportive towards me. I’ve only been in forum for about 4 months, bit shocked I’m now a moderator.
