Hi D-c , just gave you a welcome under the other thread. Coincidentally I just rang the Ark dealer in Sydney asking how much longer!! It doesn't look like I'll be getting it before Mid August at this rate.

If you're pressed for time you may consider the varex system it has a push button control for loud to quite option, it is cat back and sounds damn nice. Tony's mufflers here in Sydney installs and theres little to no wait time. You'll find the you tube clip here on the forum if you do a search. From memory it been posted here twice.

So they dont pull the dash apart to install like the kia bimodal unit?

No pulling of dashes apart. The push button fob activates the open/ close flap in the exhaust via the unit in the boot. This was my second choice. So the exhaust sound is either on or off.

I don't think they pull the dash apart, but it is more complex then pushing a button on or off connected via Bluetooth to the mufflers as it works with our drive modes,revs and throttle %

Yep Stinger33 told me it’s difficult and dash has to come out.

Yes, I contacted Ark in the USA through the details found here. They advised there were two dealers, one in Victora: Import monster and in NSW: Garage 88. Quotes from both were about the same.

unfortunately it needs to be done that way for this first KIA Bimodal backed Unit
i'ts very involved and that's why the cost I think
if they know what they doing can be Ok I think , I can only speak for myself and all the people that have admired it, heard the sound and commented positive to it
i'm not a fan of the method myself and I did not know at the time but I am very happy with the work they done and all it's meant to be and do! No Issues no rattles no scratches all work like they should, all good from the cabin anywhere and from the dash
not a problem that I could find or see and I love the sound!

Yes i saw microbluegt car today and he said no issues and it sounds good, not to loud.
