For those that own the car, is it hard to see traffic out the rear window?
I test drove one today and though only with it a short time, I was surprised how little I could see out the back window.
Yeah but it's not "good" when compared to many other cars. The rear visibility is better, at least from my experience in the test drive, for the Charger, Camry, Accord, S3, S4, S5 hatchback, 340i, WRX CVT, Golf GTI, Golf R, and IS350. Heck, my previous car (2014 wrx) with the wing had better visibility in the rear. I think the Stinger's rear visibility is pretty "average" but not good. I do like it though, not complaining at all.
definitely worse that our e39 wagons... but also definitely better than our hummer h3 .. better than my old eclipse gt for sure. It is pretty on par for any sloping fastback design car.
I was actually really surprised at how much worse it was than my last vehicle, but it was a Honda Fit so.... Back up camera helps a lot, especially with all of the children in my neighborhood.
I was honestly even more surprised when I realized it doesn't come with a rear window wiper?!?
I felt like it was horrible at first, then I made it worse by adding the type G but I've always had cars that I upgraded the stock spoiler on so I'm kinda used to seeing the tip of the tail out the back window. You get used to it.
Conversely, I feel like the side view on the passenger side of the car is tremendous! Easily the most field of vision I've had on any car.
