oh what's up man! yeaa man they had me messed up, saved myself $432.49 bucks doing some stuff myself and just buying the tires from my own company. like literally, 3 weeks ago i was trapped in Lufkin, Texas cause nobody in town had my tires so i went to Lufkin's Kia and they didn't have it. I went to another place in they also didn't have it. If Westside haves it, imma have to go over their ASAP!
I thought I was all alone with this issue. I purchased a GT2 from Westside Kia back in October 2019. I’m having the same problem car is pulling to the right. I took it to the dealer to see if warranty covered and they said they aligned it but it’s worse now (not extremely bad but it pulls a little bit harder to the right). I took it to discount tire where they inspect my tires (btw they have Michelin tires in stock for the Stinger) and they had worn in the inside. Called back to the dealer and they said while during the inspection warranty did not covered bad tires issue and if they put new tires in it the alignment was also not covered in the warranty. My car is 4,700 miles only an already having this issue. It has a really low mileage due to COVID-19. I’ll take it back to the dealer next week to see if we can do something about it. It’s basically a brand new car which I love by the way but not sure if Westside Kia is being completely honest with the situation. Any updates on what happened to you guys did it got fixed at all from the dealer?

That's positive camber when the tyres have worn on the inside. I think camber is not adjustable on the front suspension of the stinger. The positive camber is worse when a car is lowered.

I have not come across any kits to allow camber in the front suspension to be changed. There is a bit of camber adjustment in the rear suspension.

When a car pulls to one side it is usually the toe-in that is out on one side. You want some negative toe-in on both front wheels to track straight. Toe-in is adjustable on the stinger.

Try a tyre place, they should be able to give you a printed report for you to see where the problem is.

I think you mean negative camber. Negative camber increases on lowered cars as the lowered ride height pulls the tops of the wheels inwards. Too much much negative camber and/or too much toe cause inner tire wear.

Pulling to one side or the other can be several things. Camber, caster and thrust angle can all cause those conditions if not set properly during an alignment.

Here is a good resource for alignment basics:

Took the car to the dealership and apparently there’s a bent strut that is preventing the car from being aligned. It’s not covered under warranty. Hopefully it’ll get fixed (out of pocket money)

Why? Is there damage on your wheel/tire? If there’s no evidence you hit something then it’s absolutely a warranty claim. Defective part. Struts don’t bend easily. And it’s likely they sold it to you like that with only 4700 miles. No way I’d pay out of pocket for this.

I agree with this, the struts are really beefy on this car. I have bent the same rim three times, no leaking from the strut and not to mention twice I've had my springs off to check my lowering spring install.

They aligned your car, your tires were wearing prematurely due to their alignment from the sounds of it. I would find another dealer OR call the Kia hotline or whatever it is, and ask why you have to pay out of pocket for their misalignment. Do you have the printout of the before and after alignment??

Caster/camber are fixed on the stinger(front), I'm still within spec after lowering. So they had your toe wrong from the sounds of it, which would cause your tire to wear based on too much or too little toe. Think they're feeding you BS about the bent strut, I don't see how it's possible unless your wheel fell into an open manhole and at that point your whole front end would be damaged.

RWD is normal

AWD is high
The service manual lists both RWD and AWD for both Normal and High. Do you know something not in the service manual or is this incorrect info?

The manual is confusing. AWD Stingers have a higher stance than the RWD ones. My alignment tech used the high spec for AWD. There really isn’t that much of a difference between the two.

Ok I don't know much about alignment. But here is the story. The left pic was alignment after I dropped it on Ark Springs I felt it pulling to the right a tad after this so I took it back after I read on the forums there is no after market camber kits for our Stingers. Mine is a AWD
Right pick is how it is now!

They brought the Toe in negative on Front and rear to track straight (not sure why rear had to be adjusted) I just hope I don't eat these tires up fast with inside wear.
How do these specs look?

Which pic is the current one? Both look fine and you shouldn't have a tire wear issue. Right pic looks like you're running a bit less toe in than factory which may make the car turn in a bit easier at the expense of some straight line stability.

That’s a good setup to minimize tire wear on a lowered car. Minimal toe and not overly aggressive negative camber.
