Advice requested

More info:
  • Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06+ all-season rubber.
    • 245/35 R19 on the front
    • 285/30 R19 on the rear
  • TSW Clypse wheels (I think in a 19x9 size, but not yet confirmed)
  • Don't know any offset or toe/in/camber settings
  • No sign of BOV or Oil Catch Can
  • No piggyback system
  • No suspension mods
  • Unknown if spark plugs have been gapped and/or upgraded
I need to verify my speedometer is still accurate. Seems to be reading a little high, but that may be the optimist in me!
Do staggered tires get put on squared setup rims!? (Learning all the time.)

those tire sizes are bang on for speedo accuracy so you should be right on the money

you can if they can fit. for example, my front wheels are 8.5 inches wide, allowing for the 255's I run in front, and my rears are 10 inches wide, allowing for 285, however the rears have a rated minimum of 255's, so I could run 255s square if I wanted to.

Well, this seems very weird. All this time, I've assumed that running the same wheels under different width tires front to rear would be a "don't do that" thing: handling would be affected by doing that. Similarly, different width rims would stretch the tire on the wider rims, which I have also assumed would affect handling. "Staggered" means wider tires on wider rims and narrower tires on narrower rims. But people are always mixing and matching, either out of a lack of concern or out of expediency, I suppose.

oh no, you're closer than you think. Possible does not mean recommended haha

I think on a supercar at top speed around a track it would definitely matter.

I can at least swap these tires from left to right on the same axle for better wear. A unidirectional tire in staggered size cannot. Worth mentioning!
