Some more dyno testing with a 2022 Stinger today. This time in addition to his custom intake/catback he added in dps and CPI. Running an E45 mix with the JB4 set to map7 which allows it to vary CPI volume and boost target based on the ethanol mixture. Peak power was around a 90 additive setting.
Most of the runs were done in 4th including his last round of testing but for kicks we also did a 5th gear run and included a plot of that. Very impressive gains adding in the dps and CPI....
We tried several different boost profiles including holding more boost to redline but they didn't result in more power. It appears timing advance is probably the limiting factor here. The factory timing tables max out around 15-16 degrees up top. In looking at a few JB4+flash logs the most aggressive flash maps are running 20 degrees+ up top. I'm not sure if that's safe long term yet but seems to be worth another 15-20whp with E30+meth or CPI+E45. If flash map prices don't drop soon we'll have to dust off the JB4's CPS control to see if we can fudge timing up a few degrees for max effort customers.
