You should have had widescreen AA since the July update in Australia. Might pay to swing past your dealer.
Actually I meant fullscreen i.e. map displays end to end but that's not the case for me.

what country are you in? I have the latest standard as well in the US, and the latest from october actually added several new "sounds of nature" like experience the universe, which i actually really like.
Maybe have a look here: Notice | Official Kia Navigation Update WebsiteHad my car in at Kia for its 60k service i asked about the new nav update. I have always got a free update once a year from them. I was told it had expired and i would be up for $300! I was also told it now only applies to 2019 or newer models, mine is a My 2018. Not amused.
Just updated mine (Standard Gen 5 non widescreen) with Dec 2022. They seemed to have removed the "sounds of nature" feature on this latest update for the non-widescreens.
It didn't come with that feature originally, Kia threw it in when they updated to the purple theme. So maybe they decided to take it away. I have only ever used it once anyway to go through the sounds and that's it. I have never used that feature ever again.
Aaah, roger. It has changed in that it uses the full screen, but it runs in split screen. If you're listening to music that takes up one part, and the map takes up the other for example. You can swap between the two also, so your map is larger, or the music app is larger. I quite like it.Actually I meant fullscreen i.e. map displays end to end but that's not the case for me.
Better off without it. Good way to fall asleep on a drive.Just updated mine (Standard Gen 5 non widescreen) with Dec 2022. They seemed to have removed the "sounds of nature" feature on this latest update for the non-widescreens.

so strange, we lost the nixie tubes in the radio over 3 updates ago... I actually liked them and want them back even though we never listen to the radio.. lolYeah, it was in both places in my last version, but now it's only in (some of) the playback screens. I noticed some differences in the camera settings screen, and there's a clock showing on top of the camera view now (why?) so nothing too compelling in this update so far. Still has those stupid bulbs in the radio.
Apparently the update is only available for models with the 8" screen at the moment while those on the 10" screen will have to wait a couple more weeks for it to be available. Was talking to Kia head office in NZ today who gave me this information.
