2019 Map Update now available online

I just logged into the online portal for Kia updates in Australia and the 2019 Update is now available to download!

Has anybody got this update to work? I get to the last step of updating to the SD card and it says "failed to receive download data", "no download data is found"

Update - got it to work now, about 90% complete as we speak Was being blocked by firewall or antivirus. I called Kia Support on the number from the map-care website and they had no idea about anything. According to them there is no update available yet and wont be for another 2 months... I told them multiple times that I am looking at the update online and told them to go to the website, but they said that no one at Kia Australia knows about it so he couldnt help me. Really strange. But at least it seems to be working so far.

Update was a success! All downloaded and installed in car. Havent got time to have a decent look, but at first glance the media player looks different, and navigation has some extra features. About bloody time we got an update - hopefully now this gets the ball rolling and they become more frequent.

Ugh - Just signed up and my verification email got spam filtered on my email host....which their site seems to make a big point about checking your spam folder.

Funny that - their server is NOT configured properly.

So my spam filter complained about this;
2.6 RDNS_DYNAMIC Delivered to internal network by host with dynamic-looking rDNS
1.0 KAM_LAZY_DOMAIN_SECURITY Sending domain does not have any anti-forgery methods
2.0 HELO_DYNAMIC_IPADDR Relay HELO'd using suspicious hostname (IP addr 1)

- No DNS SPF record. Rookie mistake.
- Bad rDNS on your mail server HELO.
- Sending from an AWS instance; not helping your Dynamic IP situation

Hopefully Kia Corporate / their IT read this.

Just completed download to SD card, took about 55min over Wi-Fi......4.883GB.
Haven't put SD back in car yet but will do tomorrow. I'm interested to learn if a certain red light camera that was taken out around 4 years ago is still "there".

Good news is it updated correctly.
Bad news is the engineering menu trick no longer works.

Can you please advise the Australian map-care customer support phone number?
Every time I try to register it accepts the details but never sends the email confirmations (junk mail checked).

That's what happened to me too @Tazztattoo - their system has some rookie email configuration issues - so they are getting nuked by your providers mail system.

In my professional IT opinion; some website developer/s clearly had no idea how Email should be sent.

How is the open text message function a new feature my version already does this and it's 2 versions behind. The map company shipped me for free this new update should be here tomorrow because i just purchased last month and was 2 versions behind.

We are in Australia mate so not sure sorry. I think you guys have slightly different software to us.

I followed the instructions on the website and removed the SD card from the car and loaded the update on to it.

Noticed today that pressing the 360 Camera view button now reduces the audio volume like when shifting in to reverse too.
