Replacing the front and rear brake pads on my 2019 Kia Stinger GT 3.3L and I am needing suggestions. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
These are what I'm currently considering.I hear good things about the EBC yellow stuff, a price pricey for pads, but how often do you replace them…
I like PowerStop, I have them on my Honda Ridgeline with their rotors and have read pretty positive comments here for the Stinger. Definitely a nice price! These are what I'm currently considering.
There's another thread on here discussing "Clunking" of the Z26's due to them not being sized right. Apparently they're a touch small and because of that when you go from forward to reverse, and vice versa, they clunk back and forth. Stinger Brake Pads Replacement

That would be annoying and not worth the savings IMO
Not impossible to tell..Absolutely wrong, it's such a minor thing I think it's more than worth paying about half what comparable other pads are going for. But I do agree that ultra twitchy people might find any noise too much to bear.
Also, supposedly the sizing issue is fixed on the latest part but it's impossible to tell which you're getting since the part number remained the same.
Not impossible to tell..
You just need to check the date of manufacture on the pads..

Stinger Brake Pads Replacement
With the powerstop z26 I have a thunk sound when shifting between forward and reverse and braking once between those changes in direction (the pad is shifting in the caliper). This phenomenon is pretty well documented in a lot of car forums. For those of you with the EBC redstuff, have you had...stingerforum.org
^^I'd imagine if your ordering from RockAuto that their stock is not going to be old with the volume those guys move!
