What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I have never been a leave it standard for warranty work kind of guy
Given your willingness to spend time & money on modifications, why not go with a turbo upgrade? They're not very common, so the car would be pretty unique and a monster performer.

It would be really cool to see someone's build process, especially if it involved upgraded manifolds, or at least ported ones like the TK700 ball bearing turbos.

There is a very BIG reason why I havn't done that brother and it hasn't been for lack of communicating with other companies here and abroad.

I am still keen to fit a rear mount but only if I can fabricate it myself...

The 1980's is beckoning...

Painting it ABP and fitting it to my stock bonnet, finally get to paint under my stock bonnet too once I cut the hole out 😈

Might be a racetrack deal or I might rock it daily with some new wheels?

Peace ✌️

eh ... most of the car is curvy, and that squared off scoop just doesn't jive with the rest of the car. nothing i hate more than mixing curvy and harsh right angles on a car. have you considered a scoop that would suit the car better, maybe from an Evo X, for example?

just my opinion ... its your car, do what you like if it makes you happy ... :)

My point is to always be different... I hate copying people and at least I know nobody is gonna copy me 😈

That looks almost like a NACA duct, except that it appears to be raised. I wonder how the Stinger would look with a pair of functional NACA ducts where the (fake) hood vents are...cool or too Ferrari F40?

The ducts wouldn't go anywhere unless the underside of the hood were modified to allow the venting to go all the way in. That could get tricky if you want the end result to look cosmetically neat and finished. Of course, you could just cut a hole in the underside panel ...

I assumed cutting it was a given for any kind of hood vent. @BIG-D you're making that scoop functional, right? I think the vents in that aftermarket hood already are...
