Mine flipped down while I was on the highway today. The sound scared me half to death. Was held on by zip ties. Guess that was part of their "Certified pre-owned inspection". I expect a battle at the dealership once they get back to me. Just got the car last month.

Hello,

This 2019 stinger part came down today after I went over a slight dip in the road. Can anyone tell me what it's called and if it is expensive to replace? It feels like a particle board-like material. We had to cut it away to drive it, but I'm worried about what it does. Is it a water protector?

it is nothing dangerous my protect nothing I replace it for a thousand dollars on insurance n it's back down

Man, that is a lot of nuts and bolts! But it isn't going to come apart any time soon. And the question is, how does this splitter under tray combo affect bumper cover removal? Do you have to take the whole thing apart to get the bumper cover off?

As for the oil drain, there are 3 bolts holding a small plate in. When the guys were talking, one of the guys made it sound like it was pretty simple and quick to remove the entire bumper.

The installation video talks about bolting the splitter directly to the underside of the bumper cover - the painted plastic part that everyone calls "the bumper", but it really isn't, it covers the crash bar behind it, like all modern cars have. The installer drilled eleven 1/4" holes through the bumper cover once the splitter was in place with the half a dozen or so mounting bolts. The eleven additional bolts appear to be for added security. Obviously far more secure than the half dozen or so plastic clips that hold on the OEM front under tray. Ima guessing that the entire assembly of bumper cover and aftermarket, bolted on, splitter comes off together. It overlaps with the other two sections somehow, they stay on the car when the bumper cover and aftermarket, bolted on, splitter come off. This is all deduction of course, I don't know anymore than what I gleaned from the video.
