What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I’ve been beating myself up about not doing 15% all around. It’s such a nice contrast against the micro blue especially when sunlight hits it…looks great though
I'm gonna try not to beat myself up because going the legal limit (25%> in front windows) in Texas makes it easier for inspections and avoiding cop attention. Still loving it though, and as a side note really liking the TuxMat floor mats. Usually a WeatherTech Floorliner guy but these look great in conjunction with the perforated leather seats.

I also have a few things to install after I get used to the stock experience - Eibach front and rear sway bars and ATQ subframe collars.

Did the seat/s come with those rails ? Also when you say it was a PITA, what was the worst part ?
The carbon ones came with brackets. And i guess i need to correct myself. It was a pita before i gave up and installed sliders (bought separately). I didn't want to use them originally, to keep weight to a minimum. Just a fixed seat. But after countless tries to find that comfortable spot i went ahead and used them. Once you move the seat on one direction the whole geometry changes and you have to adjust everything else. So those slider do help a lot.

You've had those for a while, am I right? Been planning for a while, and only now have your Stinger.

Funny you mentioned the mats because I just ordered the weather tech ones early this morning from K8. Have the oem mats and trunk liner for 2 years but the mats are not 100% full coverage and my heel gets caught in the ridges switching between the gas and brake pedals. Hope these are better.

Hahaha, yes you are right. I ordered my 2023 GT2 back in July, and only just picked her up last weekend :) Snagged a few goodies before she arrived, and still a number of things in the shopping cart :D

Nice, honestly the WeatherTech Floorliners are really good - the build quality is great, and the coverage is significantly better than OEM. Hope it works out better than OEM!

Installed these today from K8 store. Easy job, less than an hour for both doors. I measured 7.5inches forward from the red door light at the rear of the panel. If I did it again I’d probably only do 6-7 inches. The install video on K8 is spot on.

Size of the hole: I used a 1/4-5/8 inch step drill bit. after measuring the size of the light fixture I made a hole just a tad under the 5/8 size. This unfortunately that’s also a tad too big so the light rotates some. I used superglue and duct tape to fix it in place. On the second one I got it perfect and it’s snug in its place. Probably 1–2 steps below 5/8. Don’t forget to vacuumm out all the plastic shavings that will be in the door.

When removing the panel some of the fasteners detached from the panel and remained in the door. Just remove them from the door after you have the panel removed and they easily affix to the panel for easy reinstall.

These photos were taken in my garage with the door down. It goes without saying you should have a shady/darker place to install these because you wont be able to see the logo in bright light for alignment. The logo is 9 3/4 inches by 3/4 inch.

photos. I’ve rotated my phone all directions, retaken the photos and each time I upload them the photo gets rotated by whatever software is on this site. I give up.

Looks good! What are your tire / wheel specs?
ARK GTF springs

19x8.5 +35 with 245 40 on the front.
19x9.5 +45 with 275 35 on the rear.

I'm also running a 5mm spacer on both.

How are you liking the exhaust tips? ;)
I’m liking the roof spoiler btw…
I like them, they help SO much with the MBRP drone it's not even funny.

Just took delivery of some new Pads. Have DBA Rotors on order. Haven't decided if I'll swap before Winter or stick with stock and swap them out in the spring. Picked everything up early cause they were on sale. Never know what prices will be liked next year.

Great choice of pads and rotors! I can't believe how good that combo works. Love em.

Installed front and rear eibach bars today. I was able to properly torque all the nuts/bolts to the proper specs based on the chart on the forum except the PITA drivers side bolt. We actually removed that nut in just a few minutes. Getting that nut back on was a whole different story due to the design of the Eibach bushing and clamp. The angled sides make it difficult to use a ratchet of any kind other than a smalll 3/8. I couldn’t get a torque wrench on it properly even after removing the wheel liner and moving the fuel lines an inch to the left. I just got it as tight as possible with a ratchet. Car feels great. I used the provided grease and added Teflon tape. After installation I used a grease gun to add a bit more via the zerk fitting. With this site and YouTube videos it’s possible to do just about anything.

Next up: MBRP active exhaust installation. Just received the shipping email today.

Installed the aFe takeda intakes today. Took about 2ish hours give or take a 10-15 mins for breaks, and grabbing a few extra tools. All in all, not too bad. Go here to get a bit more detail if you want. New Intake
