Brake fluid cap adapter

Does anyone know the size of the adapter I'd use to bleed my brakes for the 19 stinger gt??

Are you asking about an adapter for a pressurized bleeder like the motive one? If so the model number for the Motive cap for the Stinger is 1107.

Otherwise I am not sure what you are talking about because there is no adapter needed to do a manual "2-man" bleed.
Just drill a hole in the cap for an empty water bottle and put a vacuum hose in it. Then you connect it to the valve nipples.

I think I bled out more fluid than needed, but I used just a little bit of a 3rd 500ml bottle
My fluid had like 9k miles on it so it was difficult to distinguish the old and new fluid.

Fancy. In past cars, I've found the dot4 fluid to discolor more quickly than dot3.

I don't have the fancy brakes either, will prob use dot3 when i do the flush next summer (2yrs). Manual says to change every 4 years. Seems lengthy to me.



Based on this a 32oz should be enough. But agreed, unless it's discolored significantly, hard to tell when the new stuff is coming out. Looks like they recommend dot4 too. Don't need the LV stuff here, maybe in canada.

Oh Ok.
Well for future, the more detail you can give us in a question, the more specific information we can provide in an answer. "The adapter" and "the machine" is not very specific. This leaves us to have to guess and try to read your mind.
As stated the Motive brand cap for our car is model number 1107, whether that works with unknown "the machine at my dealer" I have no idea.

Find out what actual model of bleeder your your dealer uses and then look/google for the model of adapter/cap that is for Ford/Asian vehicles. If nothing else, look for the one with 3 notches and matches the inside and outside diameter of the Stinger's brake fluid reservoir fill tube.

For a 2022 GT2 AWD (the “Brembo” brakes - at least cosmetically), are there really two bleed screws (nipples) per caliper?

And are the front and rear the same size/thread pitch?

Asking for a friend.

Yes thier is two bleed screws. Search for the thread on proper bleed procedure (it is different from standard).

Thread pitch of the bleed screws?? They were the same size wrench for my 2021, so I would assume it is the same for a 2022.

So, presuming your 2018 GT2 also has Brembos, you ordered eight of the SB1010S SpeedBleeders?

Just confirming two bleed nipples per caliper and same size front and rear.

Yep. I’ve put SpeedBleeders (and braided brake lines) on everything since my 1993 RX-7.

What do these speedbleeders add over the stock bleed screws? From what I can see from a picture, it just looks like it would function the same as OEM.

I used those speed bleeders before on the bike. They're great when new, not so much after one or two uses. The sealant gets broken down and they leak around the threads. Use the motive power bleeder and call it a day.

Check ball in the screw allows you to leave the screw "open" while pumping the brake fluid.

SpeedBleeders replace the stock bleed nipples and enable one-way fluid flow so one person can crack them open a quarter turn then get in the car and pump the brake pedal. Fluid goes out but no air comes in. Especially good for the occasional caliper bleed.

Had them on my last car for 150,000 miles and 16 years with caliper bleeds every few months and full flushes every year. No issues. No leaking.
