Weather tech floor liners

I filled out the request, in my experience floor liners hold up better than mats.
They block salt from getting on the upholstery near the pedals which sucks to clean!

We might as well start talking about homemade mats made out of cotton candy and straw imported from Nigeria.

There are many choices for mats and I respect others opinions if they like a different version better. I want the weather techs and the best way to get them into the market is get the requests to the factory.

I’m always up for another boxing match but I lost the passion for this thread already.

I make my floor mats out of people's tears, sarcasm, bitching, and overreactions so I can step on them every time I get in my car.

I almost have enough for all 4 mats...

I've never had weathertech mats. Are they hard plastic?

For my wife's 2010 Acura TSX, yes they are. Once stained at all, hard to clean (lighter color problem, I guess). The lip against the door sill on the driver's side has bent inwards, away from the sill. This has created an opening between the carpet and the mat. This has defeated the "laser-measured" coverage of the entire footwell area because dirt/water/snow/whatever can fall onto the carpet and under the mat.

UPDATE : Hey Expert4 , I have just received notification that the Weathertech liners are in development !! The Canadian Tech Mgr has written to tell me that they are in the "plastic mold" development stage now and will move into aluminum drilling and casting soon . No ETA but he will update me ......................hopefully soon for you guys !!

I just got another note from WT Canada saying that the AWD vs RWD was one of the hiccups , but that they were dedicated to the project , also included a plug for Eibach products ? I assume they are related ?? anyway looks like our efforts are being rewarded !! WTG

I'm not trying to rain on your thread , I offered a readily available option for members , Yes I have had Weather Tech mats and they work fine , but I would add that they dont have the oem lock for the in car hook and they dont have the needles to hold in place to the carpet , additionally adding their rather bold brand is not something I find appealing for a Sports car . Your key point seems to be "laser fit " , well the OEM mats I'm referring to are 100 % Stinger Fit dedicated and come in both AWD and RWD formats . I received the 15% off KIA OEM mats email this morning and was about to push it out to the ,members for their potential interest when your topic was posted . My logic was and is simply these are excellent quality , fit like a glove , branded STINGER and ..........available now ............on sale . I'm sorry and apologize to you and any members who take offense , none was intended .

I Shipped to a US PO box and drove down to pick them up , they'll charge you PST and GST probably BUT the products are solid , the mats here are not great !!

I have done that in the past for my motorbikes, as parts are duty free, I wasn't sure about cars.

My next purchase will be a Radar detector and a set of Rims that will warrant a road trip to Sweetgrass MT. I would expect the Rims to be costly if i have them delivered to my front door.

Pretty excited about the mud flaps, and cant wait to see if they make a difference with keeping the sides cleaner!!
