Good Surprise Surprise - Buy Offer on Vroom

And they paid me $39k ;) It depends on the location of where you are.

While that's a factor in final asking price, I'm also thinking the inflated prices Vroom is paying relates to competition from Carvana and others to get inventory, and even if they don't make much or any money on the sale it helps keep the 'shelves stocked', so to speak. In other words - if there's no cars on the website, there's a decline in buyer interest in and visits to the website.

Wow. Quite a jump from $36400

Vroom seems to be upping their offers. They went from 31.9 to 33k on my 21 GT Line.
All depends on what you paid and when you bought it. That seems okay for a '21, but you can only tell if it's a good deal for you based on your acquisition of the car.

I paid 34k out the door for it so pretty close to break even, I don’t plan to sell unless I can turn a profit. I have been looking at used GTs but unfortunately the used prices keep going up as well. I found an 18 GT AWD with 52k miles and they want 32k for it.

Sell it. Wait out the price spikes and buy another. That's a helluva offer there buddy
Going to have to pull a bunch of mods I literally just put on..it’s a great offer on a GTS IMO

Move on it. That is what the GT1s and 2s were selling for before this frenzy broke out; '18s of course. Now, you can get rid of it without taking a trade-in hit or getting less for it in the future. Heck, just buy a '20 or '21 for that price that's slightly used and certified. Same car, thousands less. And, you got an extremely high amount of money on a car that is 3 years old.

I'm curious to see what the residual is for the ones that leased in '17/'18. I'm thinking around $30k but someone chime in please. Everyone, and I mean everyone, should be taking the lease buyout and selling themselves.
I have a 2018 Stinger GT2 with 60K miles. They offered me $31,000. I paid $38,000.

I may be about to jump on this wagon too. They're offering me 29k for a GT2, even with 77k miles and an accident on the Carfax.

Vroom lowered their price to under what they paid me. I wonder where they are making their money on this one.

Reminder, they gave me $39k. Listed for $37,999. Click link below. Nuts they aren't making money off of this.

2020 Kia Stinger GT - $37,999

I feel like I am always telling people the same thing that share their offer in this thread lol hop on the wagon and sell it. With that many miles and an accident, you almost have too.

It could just be to grab market share, even if that means operating at a loss for now. Interesting though.
