Bad Khar Tunerz, never again

So to keep this short and to the point, I had ordered a BMS oil catch can from khar tuners after they confirmed it was in stock ( I had been trying for almost 3 months to get one ). Once I recieved it in about a week it came directly from BMS and was mailed wrapped in paper in a bubble mailer, no box, no instructions, no parts list. After figuring out what is used and how I found that there isn't a longer bolt to install it to the vehicle (the 2.0) I could be doing something wrong idk there were no instructions and i was far beyond doing anymore research on this.

So i contacted Khar Tunerz via email like I had been over some time (I thought I was missing a part asked them they said they would check and they never got back to me) and told them I believe there is something missing and I'm not going to rig it to fit when it was a kit made to directly work on my vehicle and that I didn't blame them nor had any bad opinion of them but wanted to return it and just move one and figure something out. A week goes by with no response I try again and nothing. So I contact Nick directly he seemed polite and cared about what was going on and told me he just needed to check where to ship it back to. Again I waited a week, requested an update another week goes by with no response. Now I'm upset with everyone involved and ask if there's any thing going on or am I being ignored, guess what, no response tomorrow is a week for that one to. I even emailed them again, same thing.

To be honest this is one of the worst service experiences I've ever had, I spent my money and time on it and gave it many more chances than I should have and now I'm just going to be treated unprofessionally and it unacceptable. I'm done giving these businesses my money and time which is a shame I like supporting companies that aren't necessarily a huge corporation but at least they'll honor what they say.

I know I said I'd keep it short but that's as short as I could make it. My advice, if you value your time, money and quality of service and parts these guys are 100% not the people to give it to.
 
WOW! I ordered lowing springs and spacers for them and they both got to me within a weeks time with no problems. Of course this was before the whole covid 19 shit hit the fan. Maybe it has to do with that?

My stuff got to me quick, and I dont blane them for the packaging or the potential missing mounting bolt since they dont produce it and they didn't package it. However for them to communicate with me then suddenly just outright ignore me there isn't much of an excuse for that. I know covid has slown things and changed the way things are being handled to a point I get that, but not like this. There was no problem taking my money, shipping it or delivering it across the country.

Obviously I'm unhappy about it, I tried being cool about it but to just ignore customers is bad business.

My order went in on 2020-06-17 (well into the lockdown) and my intakes and sway bars came in less than 7 days (2020-06-23). The exhaust took a bit longer (2020-06-30) but when I reached out for a status update I got an immediate response with an update from Stillen. Very happy with my parts, timing and support.

@DGambit....Ya, I hear ya man! There's no reason for them not too not do anything for you. You ordered the part from them...they should bite the bullet for anything that goes wrong with that order no matter where it's coming from after the fact.

Great company to deal with in my experience. Contact bms and ask maybe rather than nick.

Get his email from the Burgertuning.com website and email him directly.
 
His communication has been lacking here recently. Maybe he’s going through something I dunno. I’m giving him another chance. Most of the stuff he sells is dropped shipped from the manufacturer in my experience

He was helping me out and then just silence, I cant even get anyone to respond via their own website contacts.
 
Wow. I’ve never had any issues with @NICK_KHAR . He’s always pretty on top of things.
I have had nothing but positive experiences and complete support with one problem sale item. I have always had great luck contacting Nick, and he has even provided great tips that saved me money. They are busy, but I'd say don't hesitate to contact Nick again. I talked to him yesterday and he tracked my order to arrive today, and it did.
 
Well I have tried contacting him every week for nearly a month and emailing the site with no response from anyone, every time I try again I just get more upset and angry about it

I live in a different time zone and have to consider that when I call, but that's about it. I wish you good luck in getting your issue resolved.
 
First off I apologize for the entire situation
Secondly thank you to those who tagged me / us and said to give us a chance.

I've gone back and read the emails and looks like we were going to send you a return label and refund and thats where communication died off.
I can write up the label for return tonight and will issue a refund as well.
We are currently working on adding an employee to help on the customer service side as I am getting stretched far too thin and its really starting to show.
Ill send you an email shortly and we will get you taken care of. Sorry it had to come down to this

@DGambit, just because other people had fantastic experiences, it doesn’t negate your experience! I appreciate you creating this thread because sometimes things fall through the cracks, and it’s threads like these that can help shine a light on them.

It appears as though this has caused @NICK_KHAR to go back through and find the root cause of the lack of communication. Hopefully, the solution, and apology, is sufficient for you.

On a more personal note, I’ve never ordered anything from @NICK_KHAR, but based on how he admitted to a fault and is taking steps to mitigate them from occurring again, I am going to consider them for my next purchase.

It’s good to see both sides, and especially useful to know a vendor can acknowledge fault and address it in a public setting.

Kudos to you both.

Just to update everyone, @NICK_KHAR did get ahold of me via email and we are currently working everything out, I do appreciate the apology but I still wish it didn't have to come through all of this drama. That being said, I'm happy that communications have reopened and this appears to be getting resolved.

I was told about a month out for items and I have not heard anything. I would just like a status update but you can't logon to the site to get any kind of status or even lookup your orders. Like others have said, I have no problem waiting if there is just back ordering happening, but not responding or being able to lookup status is poor customer service.

Your order has already been cancelled and refunded
Typical lead time to have refund back into your account is 1-5 days depending on the bank

Customers that state "I will never buy from you people again" are blacklisted from ordering and blocked from viewing any new news or products coming from us
