Bad Khar Tunerz, never again

I'm in the same boat with them. I've purchased from Nick before, and I've never been stiffed, but I have experienced poor communication. In today's day and age, we've become used to getting status updates from vendors and such, so when we encounter a vendor that does not communicate like that, we don't have much patience for it. Of course it's worse when we are asking for status and we get no response for weeks, etc. That just can't happen. It's not all that hard, if something is not available, don't take an order unless you have clear line of sight to when it is available. Further, you must communicate that with the client. If there's literally no timetable for shipping the goods, you have to tell the client that. Set some sort of expectation. K8 is pretty good at that.

And I was just about to order a grip of parts..

Know I'm nervous after reading this. I ordered a bunch of stuff before I joined here. It's only been 1 week so time will tell.

It's hit or miss. If they have the products in stock, you will likely be fine.

Saw this thread a day after ordering MBRP SS catback from Khartunerz. Freaked me out at first, but I'm patient. Shipping email came in 5 days after the order. The box was delivered 8 days after order. First time ordering from KT, and will order again with this experience. Fyi...I don't know KT, just a guy from Seattle looking for wrench time on the Stinger.

I think they are hit and miss. I too had no problem when I bought my OEM CF diffuser from them. I think if they have your part in stock you get a no hassle experience. But if the part is not in stock you get the cold shoulder after being parted from your money experience.
For me though I don’t think I would go back. Even though it didn’t happen to me I’ve read about it too many times and I simply can’t buy from people that have zero respect for others well running there businesses.

I had a great experience with Khartunerz recently, fast shipping and very helpful with questions I had.
Same here, they even called to verify an order.

I ordered the EBC floating rotors from them on Wednesday and they shipped to East coast and received at my door by Friday. They were dragging their feet for the longest time (3weeks) giving me a refund on the WhiteLine sway bar set w/endlinks (in stock and cheaper someplace else), until I called and decided I wanted the credit put towards the rotors, but they made it right in the end. I'd give them another shot in the future. Great price on the rotors too!

Do not order from KHARTUNERZ. Scammed for $1000+

Approximately 2 months ago (1/28/22) I ordered the burger tuning g70 package for over $1000 from khartunerz. Since then I have emailed multiple times about my order with no response. I received a response initially after my order but all emails since then have been ignored. I waited a month before asking for tracking since I know they have to reroute shipments to my state. I received no response to that email. I emailed two weeks ago asking for an update and have received no response to that email. I have sent one final email explaining the situation and letting them know that I will be contacting my credit card company if they do not reply.
Do not use this company if you value your time or money. Terrible experience.

someone on the g70 reddit just posted that, figured id add it on here

I'm in the same postion. Not posting much info yet until I get it resolved with credit card company.

They're fine if they have the product on hand. Brutal though. a simple email back to you explaining what's happening is all it would take. I would call them too of course. I don't think they are dishonest, just don't put a premium on customer service. If you end up canceling, just order it directly from Burger Tuning.

So, I waited 3 weeks for a credit on an order I cancelled- item was not going to be in stock for awhile...kinda fortunately, they had the EBC 2-pc floating rotors in stock for a great price, so they gave me the credit towards that purchase, so it worked out for me with a phone call and I saved over $200 from anyplace else. I guess this may be the lesson here- if its in stock, you'll probably have a good experience, if not, well....not so much.

how difficult is it to swap them out?

Easy bolt on/off, but bleeding the system is paramount. I'm replacing my stock GT-Line calipers with the stock Brembos 13.8" that are OEM on the GT 1/2's. Honestly, if I wasn't doing the upgrade, I probably wouldn't bother...I don't even know if the brakes will be better, I actually find the brakes on the GT-Line to be quite good, theyre just not sexy like the powdercoated Brembos
