That's only useful for lane changes or merging onto freeways from onramps, not things like left turns at busy intersections. In fact, on Los Angeles freeways, it's not even all that useful for lane changes or merges.
... or the left turn from Sunset Blvd on to Veteran Ave, which I do daily. It's not a 90 degree turn, and the turn signal usually doesn't turn itself off when the steering wheel returns to center.
On the freeway, I really like how the blind spot detection sounds an alarm if I indicate a lane change and someone is in my blind spot. This is a quantum leap over the BSD in the 2016 Audi A6 I had prior to the Stinger, and 2017 Q7 we still lease.



. Yes, in my seating position the top of the wheel is even with the bottom of the overhang above the cluster.
