Been talking with people about some of the reasons that Stingers seeing declining sales. Besides the 'It's a Kia' issue, one point that was brought up was that the type of person who would buy a Stinger may expect a certain level of service at the dealer which KIA often falls short in reaching. I personally have noticed that my local KIA dealer looked at my car like it was a UFO when I brought it in to get tires installed. The job also took much longer than one would expect (like to the tune of 4 hours - including wait, even though I booked the earilest appointment and was 30mins early). I was told 'We wanted to be very careful with the low profile rims'. A local tire shop swapped my tires months later (went from allseasons back to stock summers) and it took a fraction of the time.
So anyway, Genesis is a luxury brand and have their 'Concierge' service and so on. Should KIA offer something like this to attract more buyers? Has anyone tried to take their Stinger to Hyundai/Genesis dealer?
