What catch can setup do you believe is best for the 3.3TT? I’m looking at Mishimoto single can direct fit vs the double can kit from ADD W1 V3.3. Both items are sold in K8stingerstore.com. Please let me know what you think is the best setup option...OR, just leave it all stock? My gut is saying go with something rather than nothing but Idk what to choose. I’ve never had a turbo car

I personally use the SXTH Element Dual Catch Cans and love them.

How much of oil do you catch on the driver side ?

Few tablespoons each time I empty it (about every 3K - 5K miles). I had a picture of it but cannot seem to find it now.

Found it!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Just got a dual catch can from ADD W1 which I have not installed but heard only great things about it (could potentially sell it :ninja::ninja:)

@Luminary do you feel those K&N sleeve are worth it on your cones ?

I do. It was recommended I get "socks" just to help protect the filters and keep them dry. I clean them each time I wash my Stinger, which is just about every weekend. :P

I have the Dual ADD W1 V3 Catch cans installed. Installation is easy if you prepare ahead of time. I get more gunk on the PCV side (like everyone else) than the CCV side but still opted for the dual setup just to cover all the bases.

you mind elaborating on prepping ahead of time..just ensuring all tools are lined up?

2nd the Sxth Element catch cans. Great build quality, plug and play and very easy to install on the Stinger

what did you pay for yours and do you know if they are offering Black Friday deals?

Just have the right tools and read the installation guide a few times prior to actually doing it so you understand what you have to do before you do it.

I got them when they had a group buy here a few months back.

They are running a black friday special right now.

10% off on orders under $250
15% off on orders over $250

That might be happening then because I don’t see the cost of the Add W1s being less after any kind of discount but if the Sxth Element cans are the best out there I’ll just go with those.

what is your thought on these ?

I had those orginally back when I first installed my K&N Intakes, and took them off because they were severly rubbing the underside of the hood. I still have them in my garage collecting dust. :(

do you know if they are offering Black Friday deals?

They are. I received this email yesterday:

K8 Stinger Store has them listed for $269.95 ((NEW) ADD W1 V3 - Baffled Oil Catch Can Kits) and I'm sure if you reach out to Daniel or David on here, they can give you a discount for it. I've done most of my shopping there and I'd recommend them any day.

I highly recommend SXTH Element. The catch cans are well built, sturdy and come on the GT bracket is just icing on the cake. Their support is great and Tanner bent over backwards for us on the group buy from before.

For the Group Buy we received 15% off, and some SXTH Element bling (lanyards & a tshirt).

Is there another group buy happening now or anytime soon?
