2020 Stinger Rumors

The tire pressure at delivery has been reported as being much higher than recommended. Perhaps that was an issue in this particular vehicle. It seemed very quiet during my test drive. There also is an optional simulated exhaust tone that comes through the car speakers. Maybe the owner had it on 11 as his preference.

That might add to it too. One encouraging thing is that most of the road noise seemed to be located in the trunk - in line with what others have reported. Another is that the trunk didn't have the hatch cover. For sure there are things that can be done to kill some of the noise.

Currently I'm looking for a fun, non-German car, so I scout Turo for interesting alternatives and rent them for a few days. Drive them on familiar roads, run my battery of tests, file my conclusions in an Excel file. Yup, I'm that crazy

Probably not until 2021 at the earliest because I've just found what appears to be a review of the 2020 Kia Stinger in Korean. Judging by the lack of pointing at bits of the car, I'm guessing that there isn't going to be any significant changes or additions.

The only thing my basic Korean can understand is that he still really likes the design of the car and just adores the red paint. If anyone has better Korean, please feel free to translate (or atleast highlight the interesting bits)

I think we wont see a mid life refresh until earliest MY2021 , but more likely 2022 .

Ze Germans. BMW introduced this design in 2014 7 Series. But it doesn't really matter, what's great is that is trickling down even to entry level cars. Love it!

Audi have had digital dash displays for years (2015 or so, in the TT) now, it filtered down into VW after some time.

Page 7 seems to suggest that you can switch AWD to 2WD (100% RWD), which is what D-AWD is supposed to be.

I don't think you would like the brown interior , we had it down here in the Ltd edition "Rafa" stinger. Coupled with 3 paint colours Aurora black, Panthera grey and deep chroma blue it didn't really match.

What does everyone think about the Red interior? Personally I love it but I have seen several dealers discount the Red interior cars more than the black interior cars.

I like the red but it depends on car colour, the white, silver and black would look awesome with red interior imho but red inside a red car maybe too much

There's enough black with the red, looks good. I'm not a fan of all black.
