2020 Stinger Rumors

There's enough black with the red, looks good. I'm not a fan of all black.
There are enough "aluminum" accents that the all-black isn't too much, imho.

What does everyone think about the Red interior? Personally I love it but I have seen several dealers discount the Red interior cars more than the black interior cars.

I love mine in the front, but the back is a bit OOT in my opinion, and I'm glad I don't ride back there. I wish they'd made it "mirror" the front, like the seat backs in black.

Check out some of the Porsche and BMW red interior options and I think you'l find the Stinger red to be a lot more pleasant.

The red looks nice, but I can't see it being fun to maintain (particularly if one has children) over the long term.

I'm lead to believe that there's more than one shade of red. I maybe wrong but there's mild variations, very slight.

The red I've seen in the white and ceramic cars is a brighter version than seen in black or Deep chroma blue. I would love to know if this can be substantiated.

Could be the difference between Nappa and regular leather.

I love it on my Snow White car. Everyone that has been in it has really liked it too.

I would have required a $5000 discount for red leather. Too distracting, among other things. IMHO, of course :-)

I love the subtle darker red in the stingers I've seen in person. Dealer photo's can be deceiving since they bump the saturation and contrast up and it looks like it's glowing neon. Its more of a redwood red, not like the loud gaudy red I see in some BMWs.

I never thought I would own a white car and I initially 100% rejected the red leather. But when I saw the car I loved the snow white pearl and the red leather just naturally goes with it :)

Same here.

Hasn't Deep Chroma Blue always been in Korea (and pretty much everywhere else except North America)?

Is the 2020 Korean brochure indicative of what may be coming here?

2020 Korean brochure shows micro blue dropped for dark blue.

It’s not available in the UK. Rumour has it they may introduce it into the UK later this year.

The Antlatica "special" edition was going to be that color here in the US, but that was cancelled almost as soon as it was announced.

The main reasons why the exterior white color of a car is ideal:
1) It is more visible to any degree of ambient lighting at a distance ... more safety when traveling on the road
2) It does not absorb but reflects ultraviolet rays and solar radiation in terms of temperature.
3) Match with any color of the interiors. Personally I think you see an elegant contrast with the color red. I've already had white with charcoal and white with beige (alcantara)

My first choice was white, but there wasn't any GT1 available in white near here. The one white GT1 AWD in the area had been classified as "for sale only, not lease" due to some Kia program, and they could still only match the price of my car BEFORE lease cash. For $7400 savings (more or less - I'm losing some due to interest, depending on when I do the buyout), it was a no-brainer - ceramic silver was my second choice.

I LIKE the look of black - but my last car proved how insane it is to have a black car in CA. I'm thinking it's only worse where you are, Dochidalgo - you're ~1000 miles south of me..

There is enough black to break up the red interior in my opinion. I never thought I would buy a car with red interior but I did. It looks great with the ceramic silver exterior. Very classy in my opinion.

Can we expect the 2020 editions to arrive in North America this august? I was at a Kia dealership last August (2018) and the just received their 2019s. I'm hoping for a similar scenario this year.

I appreciate you mentioning that last year, the new models started arriving in August. I am itching to get one and am holding out for a 2020 in the hope that they'll offer the full remote functions with the uvo app.

I would speculate that they'll follow the same timeline as last year, since the changes are supposed to be minimal if any.

Note that he’s in Canada. In the US, I think the ‘19s started showing up closer to October, but I’m not 100% on that. Can someone else chime in?
