Drag/Acceleration Kia Stinger 0-60 MPH Times

Yall went to the new 1/8 mile drag strip...super new nice place....the DA was 385 ft...awesome for HP..so okay made 3 runs and I must say Angel is right on...dragy and a real track don't agree.....where do yall want me to post up the actual time slips and the dragy data? Ran map2 and map3 car pulled super hard on 93 and corn....tell me where to post up please ...:) Wash
Post to the quarter mile thread since there arn't other good ways to measure 0-60. Or both places. Be sure to share your slopes too.
 
Just bought a dragy. First run, no launch... JT intakes, SSR secondary deletes.

Thanks Tonka.....its getting late im pooped ,but I will say this either I have a faulty Dragy....which I kinda doubt...or like you say reality may vary.....lol......made 3 passes all from the same right lane....Oh and I think I remembered a thread where tracks are mostly level...this being a new facility for right now take my word heres the slope...or slopes....lol 0.05% .... -0.40%..... -0.99% wait till yall see dragy vs time slips..... BTW the racers went crazy over the Stinger....no one could figure out what it was....I cant tell yall how many people came up to me to find out what it was....my logs for the JB4 were not recorded for some reason....I made double sure it was connected each pass....when I got home only had a hiway pull and nuthin else...what a damn waste ,I really wanted to see the logs on a full track pass...I have no idea what happened:(...ill go back to this track....and in 3 weeks the 1/4 mile track opens

Great research. Would have been funny to get an invalid run at the strip. Few more runs and you may have. The 1% random slope variation is what i see too. What state are you in?

Can you guys confirm a drop in 0-60 after adding intakes? I got a 4.19 with k&n panel filters on map 3 and wondering if intakes will be worth it or not.

0-60 is all about traction, may see some gain there, but the real gain will show in your 1/4 mile traps.

Yes. .2 seconds is what mine dropped.

I was only trapping 114 on map 3. You think I would see a increase? I have a fully loaded awd so it’s the heaviest stinger they make. Traction is not a issue so far.

from what I've heard, intakes will make a performance difference when tuned. If all things are equal, specifically traction, intakes "should" improve 0-60.

I bet you install intakes and do 116mph. It was a big difference in our testing.

Yeah that’s not bad at all. It’s worth it even to just test it haha. I’ve done three 1/4 miles now 1 in map 2 was 12:5 114 and other two map 3 ran 12.3 but the same 114 mph. Map 3 log looked really good no timing dips. Hitting around 16psi, boost starts falling at around 5200 and is around 13.5 by 6000rpms.
 
To bad launch control was not adjustable like the dodge srt models. Moving up to 2500-3000 would make this car scream 0-60.

GUYS ive been down in level 2 of my bunker avoiding strikes both from air and snipers....lucky for me they are using the Dragy gps for coordinates...got the neighbors across the street......My doggone cell died on me...what an azz whippin 5 hrs at best buy getting all the files back to new phone.....but yes tomorrow ill post draggy and real time slips....im disappointed in what i see....maybe its this beta program from Terry?..... and ill even tease yall this on a run the track was faster than dragy....of course you will have to be your own judge...im thinkin this is just a toy....itsashame that my logs didnt record cause we could dissect better.....im stressed over having to recover all my info for the new cell.....ill post up tomorrow aftetnoon if rhe dragy folks havnt got to me

I did get an invalid run....last run launch control fizzled out on me as I left the nose dove down a bit but then took off on a crappy run invalid 4.92 0 to60 -2.06% slope.
but a valid ..8.50 1/8 -0.99% slope 88.46 mph this was run 3 so I guess you can have an invalid0to60 within a valid 1/8 run....so why the big slope deviation?

so run 3 you have it was invalid on the 0 to 60 because of that wild slope but valid in the 1/8

run1 map2 Draggy Sez.....8.22 1/8 0.05% 89.88 mph 2.13 60ft 0to60 4.64 -86% slope
run2 map3 Dragy Sez..... 8.27 1/8 -0.40% 88.99 mph -0.40% slope 2.10 60ft

Your first run had a higher trap and faster time because if that extra -.46% slope! Lol.
