So when someone says they talked to you all and you said you're already working on a stage 3 tune that was just b.s.?
Is stage 2 what eflyguy has?
Possibilities of a stage 2.5 that will bridge the gap between the tune that made 60 hp extra and one that requires turbo upgrades?
Are you guys also doing anything for the 2 liter motors?Hey guys! We are here. We have been swamped with an in house stage 3 build on an AMG s65. We tell our high end clirnts about the stinger gt all the time. You all will see write ups on our website after the new year when we update our site! Hope everyone had a great holiday and you all have a kick ass new year!
Looking through the thread, it was said PresserTech has been busy working on a stage 3 tune, but it doesn't say for the Stinger. Then Todd clarified they are working on a Stage 3 tune for the Mercedes AMG S65.
I had a similar convo with Todd, so I am certain this is the case.
We were discussing tuning options for the Stinger on a Stinger forum. I don't think that was the case. I think it was a lie from a bloviator wanting attention.
Anyway, it's good they are planning to take the platform further. The more options we have the better. I'd really like to see a non-turbo upgrade/more aggressive version.
@eflyguy which stage do you have? Are you just reflashing to stock at the end of the lease?

I still need to meet up with you and see what this tune is all about. Nice review!
If you're AWD, would be fun to go to "my friends private driveway", and use my data logger to compare straight-line runs..

Guys, two questions. Is it possible to have different maps for different fuel. Let's say comfort map is for 91 octane fuel and sport map is for 100 octane fuel ?
Also is it possible that I read my ecu and sent the file to you. You modify it and sent it back to me. And I flash it myself (reason for this, that I live on the other side of the world) ?
Kam.....you're using second semester words he wouldn't "get it" lolWe were discussing tuning options for the Stinger on a Stinger forum. I don't think that was the case. I think it was a lie from a bloviator wanting attention.
How does this tune with straight Canadian fuel?As an ex-BMW addict in recovery, the Stinger is the automotive equivalent of a nic patch. Owned E92 M3, E92 335i Dinan, V10 M5, and also spent considerable time behind the wheel of an Audi R8. And now, when I hop into my GT2, do you suppose I miss any of my ex's? Not a chance.
It's a chilly 52F this morning in Edm, and my PresserTech tuned Kia, with an 1/8th tank of 100 octane race fuel, is a savage creature. Hats off to PresserTech for the great service, and for developing a powerful and refined tune that feels absolutely OEM. If Kia does decide to produce a higher performance version of the Stinger, they ought to benchmark it against PresserTech.

Will keep you posted. Only been running the tune for a few days, and when I replaced the ECU my tank was full of race fuel. Will run a couple tanks of 91 through it just to experiment. This thing's not my daily driver, so I can afford to supplement low octane pump gas with obscenely expensive race fuel.
