How much are you willing to pay? (lease)

can't really puts things together for you online, you'll have to come in and I'll put you together with an offer.

Thanks!
That's about as useful as the forum customer service reps that copy and paste the same "bring it to the dealer" whenever somebody has a problem. You can probably draw a lot of potential buyers but you at least need to act like you want to help. I'm sure some customers just say OKAY and run down but in a sales position you want more, more, more. I don't know.

Spoken like a car salesman.
In the age of the internet I can see zero reasons why you would have to go through the torture and humiliation of the "Dealer Show," with the salesman marching back and forth to consult with the manager (sitting higher than all the serfs on the selling floor) to run your latest offer by him so he can come back with a forlorn look on his face to tell you that they "won't make any $ if they sell it at your price point." If a dealer won't give me a quote online including expenses mapped out I go to a different one, end story.

Right. Walking into a dealership is a shitshow that nobody needs in this day and age. Selling cars isn't easy these days but the internet can help you earn more if you know how to use it. This is constructive criticism by the way.

They've already said they'll give you 7% off or this is just what you're hoping? That's a really good deal. I would actually go ahead and buy one for that price and not be worried about the missing features in the US cause that's a great deal.

This is where I will need to be to drive the car home.

Ah ok. I don't foresee you getting it then lol. At least, not this early in the game. Good luck though, that would be awesome if so.

Welcome aboard, @Ryan Autry! Thank you for signing up. Well, it may be a challenge but let's see if they're up to it! Good luck on getting exactly what you need to drive home in a Stinger. If not right now since they're still high on sales from people who just want the car at all costs - you should be able to get a deal like that a little later. But - it's worth a shot right now...

It's funny how nearly identical your target numbers are to mine. The exception is that I'm going for the AWD GT2. My dealer ran lease numbers for me on Saturday after my test drive and it was $760/mo.!! I told them I'd be willing to pay $1500 in drive-off costs, and might even be willing to drop down to 10k miles, but they would have to do the rest of the legwork to get the lease payment to under $600. Doesn't sound like its possible right now, but maybe it will be a little further down the line.

My dealer also told me that Kia is only shipping about 1000 GT2s to the US for ALL of 2018, and so he is not expecting there to be any negotiating room on those trim levels all year due to limited availability. I'm not sure how much truth there is to that. Maybe some truth, but mostly I think he is just trying to get me to bite now.

Keep us updated if you have success please! I could use your deal as some firepower in negotiating my deal :)

His last comment sounds like a car salesman being a car salesman, which he is of course. :)

Man, if that is true, then it might be much harder to get a better deal in the future as far as negotiating goes. Hopefully the lease deals will at least improve. Maybe they'll introduce a lower MF or more lease cash as the year goes on.

So, my dealer got back to me and said they would give me a "good deal" but they can not sell me the car for $47,000. That is too low for the high demand if this car.
With that said, I'm not willing to spend more than $46,500 for the vehicle. I personally don't think this car is going to fly off the shelves. Especially when the G70 launches. But I'm no fortune teller, so we'll see.

It probably won't. And then they'll lower the price. Just got to give it some time.

The Kia Stinger might be a great car, but at these prices. There are better options out there. Especially if you are leasing.

Yeah, if only the residual was higher.

The lease deals on the Stinger are truly not doing Kia any favors. The lease cash offer is terrific, but that’s about it. Very low residuals and very high money factors are making it tough to pull the trigger on a lease. I just got a lease offer from my local Infiniti dealer on a fully loaded 2018 Q60 Red Sport ($64k MSRP, $62k sale price) for $760 per month. The offer I got from my Kia dealer on a car that is $12k less is still $700 per month.

That Q60 offer was their first offer too. Haven’t even began to try and negotiate and I’m betting I could get it for $700/mo or lower, so why would I bite on the Kia at this point? I keep trying to justify it it my head because I WANT the Stinger badly... but I don’t want to feel ripped off in the process.

If the Q60 had ventilated seats, Android Auto, heads up display. I would have gotten it already. :(

I think if we give them some time they'll improve the deals. I'm with you though. The residual and MF are killers are on this vehicle. I hope to see the MF and lease cash improve.

Me too.

not sure why we expect kia to be giving the greatest deals right now. the car is hardly in american showrooms yet. why are we pretending that we might get a good deal on this car right now? when a new halo car comes from any brand it's not going to be easy to get into during the first week it's being sold. we knew this was going to happen. if you want a car now, buy something else. if you can wait for all the rich people who want a kia stinger as a snack in their driveway to buy one, you'll find kia will be competitive like infiniti and lexus.
