3.3TT 295's Installed - AFF02 Ace Alloy

Nice looking setup you got there! The new wheel/tire setup fills up the wheel well quite nicely, no need to drop it lower with that setup.

The back is leveled nicely, the front however is significantly higher than the back. I will probably just level it with the coilovers and thats it.

looks good brotha!!... Curious, are you tuned? If so..... does it hook up off the line better? Also, what is the ride and handling like now? I love off ramps!! I am curious how the Lateral- g pull on an off ramp is now??

It's better all around now.

Beautiful fitment. That is how a proper wheel should fit. Great job, looks good @STINGER

Did you need to do such an aggressive offset in the rear? Do you think 10.5 with 45mm would fit?

a 10.5 with a +45 offset will stick out past the quarter panel.

Mine sits flush with 10.5 and +45.

I have 285s not 295s too, though. So there's that.

I meant +55, haha. It looks great but I'm just wondering if there's more space on the backside, and maybe squeeze a 305 in

there is some space left to the strut for a +55, but a 10.5 with 305 might bulge a bit.

Many things can contribute to the overall look, ride height, camber, wheel design and tire width. The 295 will stick out on +45 offset, with my +50 they are barely flush on my -1.4 camber, I wanted to go +55 but the maximum offset ACE Alloy offered was +50. The reason I wanted +55 is so that I can run a very conservative camber (-0.8) and still have it comfortably flush. I am doing my camber alignment again for the coilovers and requested for -0.8 camber, will see how it comes out, should hopefully still be flush.

Interesting.

I have 20x10 +40 wheels with 285/30 tires sitting in the garage for spring. 20x10.5 +45 with 295/30 tires would only poke out < 2mm more, so I'm thinking I need to look for other wheels if I want to keep stock camber + stay flush.

My 20x8.5 +25 wheels with 245/35 tires should be okay in the front?

20x8.5 +25 will stick out another 6mm when compared to my 20x9 +37. Will it fit? yes, how it will look is down to your preference. I haven't seen anybody do that offset in that size for the front yet, most of the 20x8.5 do +30 to +40 in the front. I think member Corradomr2 did +30 the rest are between +35 to +40.

Nice install, what’s next?

My wallet is broken at the moment:rofl:

I do have a turboback on the way though, but after that it will be until next summer for anything new.

it's better to mod slowly anyway, if you do everything all at once you get bored and have nothing to look forward to haha

Update.

After installing the coilovers I finally had some people sit in the back. I did get a little rubbing in the outer part of the fender liner, anyways I lifted the car and found the rubbing marks on the fender liner. Used a heat gun and pressed it away from the tire and problem solved.
