Hey Guys

So i decided to wrap the fake hoodvents. Initially i wanted to fully do them in black chrome but then decided to only do the silver stripe on top of them in black chrome. Very easy Job. Unfortunately i don‘t have photos documenting it since it was a 2am idea and i did it in the dark with a flashlight.

Step 1: Remove the Hood Liner Clips and Hood Vent Nuts. You can remove 4-5 per side to create a space to remove the 4 nuts holding the hoodvent in place.

Step 2: Click the Hoodvents out of its place. The Vents are held in with several clips. I really struggled at first to remove them until i used a credit card/trim card to do the job. You need to feel where the clips are with the corner of the card. Once found push the corner into it from the outside and gently push up and it will pop out.

Step 3: remove the 3 tiny black screws that hold the silver trim in place and it will come right off.

Step 4: Wrap it with your desired color.

Step 5: put everything back in reverse order.

The job is very easy. After i used a card everything incl the wrapping did not take longer than 15min per side.

I went as i said with black chrome. Got the wrap for cheap on aliexpress. In my experience the cheap aliexpress wrap holds up fine for small part wraps.

I hope i can help anyone! Now i need to figure out how to wrap the silver trim in the air vents on the front bumper.

I did the same (wrapping the silver bit) not too long after collecting my ride, but didn't need to remove the vents at all.
Was to afraid to scratch the black plastic finish when cutting the wrap around it and also wanted to wrap around the edges of it.

Nice if you could pull it off without removing tho!

Sorry guys, just been made aware of the text color on my post. Dont know why this happened. Since i cant edit the original post here is the black text.
