windshield wipers auto mode needs refining/auto high beams

I also have 2019 and they are very slow to react in comparison to my former VW Passat. You can especially see this when driving under heavy rain and you enter a tunnel. They keep going on for quite a while even though there's no more rain and after you exit the tunnel they have a long delay until they figure out what's happening.

Exactly on point with my earlier comment. I can literally see with my eyes what they should be doing a full 20-30 seconds before they start finally doing it. Hence I wish my Stinger had a regular, manually selected intermittent mode. But I do like how the display shows the position of the wiper lever though.

Not for me.

No issue here. The adjustment in auto allowed me to tune them to the point that I don't think I've touched the lever in months. I was rinsing her down to get some dust off yesterday, and the wipers activated when the mist from the pressure washer on the roof drifted down onto the windshield.

I finally had the chance to test out the auto High-Low beams the other night on a small back road, and was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. As for wipers, I still haven't figured out how to adjust them so that they work right in auto mode. I've tried many different settings, but they always take too long to react, both when to start wiping and when to stop. Maybe I don't fully grasp how you're supposed to adjust them ?
BTW, we've had an episode of freezing rain here, and the stock wiper articulations froze in ice. So I've replaced them with some Trico Ice Extreme for the winter. So far very satisfied.
