Ive taken the car to two different autoshops and they both want $600+ to install the the rear sway only. They want to remove the shocks and a bunch of other stuff. Just wanted to see if anyones had theirs installed anywhere close to the downstate NY area (NJ, Long Island, NYC) and what you paid.
All that need to be removed for the rear sway bar is the wheels and the bolts holding that bar in place. Best place to do it is in your own driveway (if it’s flat) or garage.
My dealer did mine.
If these guys want to remove shocks etc. run away fast.
This is no more than a 2hr job for front & rear so if you know your local labour rate then that’s what it should cost.

I just got my rear sway bar/adjustable endlinks and my evc catback exhaust installed last week at an auto repair/custom shop. Was charged 4 hours of labor total which seemed a little much but I know another Stinger owner who used them and recommended them to me.

I paid less than that to get springs installed on all 4 corners, and that's just because I didn't want to deal with the front end and spring compressors. don't walk, run from that shop. I did the sway bars myself in about 2.5 hours.
I called up a local general auto shop, took the car in with the (rear) sway bar, and showed it to the owner. He quoted me ~$100 to do it; he had never swapped the sways on a Kia Stinger before. I brought it in the next day, and less than an hour later, it was done. He actually only charged me $95, and even showed me how to grease the bolts if they ever start making noise in the future. I tipped an extra $20, because it was an exceptionally good price (I was expecting closer to $200), and I was on my way.
So $600 is a rip-off. This was less than an hour of work for the shop.

Yes, but not less comfortable on a "civilized" road. I expect to notice a certain section of I-80 as you approach Parley's canyon to be even more disagreeable than it already was with just the rear Eibach bar, now that I have the front one installed too. But that's to find out on another day.

Looks like the guy you asked hasn’t been on here for over a year.
Just Google suspension shops in your area, I would assume there would be a good shop near you that could do it, remember it’s no more than a 2 hour job.
