What Tire pressure should I use?

I once saw 42 / 42 (front) and 40 / 40 (rear) during hot summer days, nothing bad happened that I am aware of.

So.. your waiting for something to happen before you set the tires to manufacture spec? Plus 42 psi will rise higher when the tire warms up, but their your tires wear them down if you want.

Mine is 39 front, 36 rear. It should be a higher pressure in the front unless you're running an 18 square setup.

Is yours AWD or a lower spec model ?The RWD suggests Fronts 36 Rears 38.

I used what the door said for a while, found it a tad soft. 41 front and 38 rear is now what I use.

That's what I do.

USDM has the following listed for pressures

2.0T

225/45R18 95V 36psi front 39psi rear​

225/40R19 93W / 255/35R19 96W staggered 36psi all around​

3.3T

225/40R19 93Y / 255/35R19 96Y staggered 38psi front 36psi rear​

225/35R20 92Y / 255/30R20 95Y staggered 38psi front 36psi rear​

I see the various tire pressures here, mine is a 2019 RWD and it says in the door plate 36 psi front and rear. Crazy how Kia has these different tire pressure for the same car RWD. I guessed the AWD would be different. Problem for me is in the summer the tires are so sticky they love picking up nails :-/

I would think all the RWD stingers with 3.3L would all have the same pressure’s if the rims and tires are the same.

There are regional differences, some cars are supplied with all season tires and other's with summer tires which have different speed ratings and possibly a different load index

No, you'd want to go with the closer to the square recommendation. assuming that the tires you have are still load rated at XL and you're a 3.3t you'd want front at 34psi and rear at 36psi

This is perfect, thanks! Yes my cars the 3.3TT, I am 99% sure I'm overthinking/worrying about this since I never really did aftermarket wheels/tires 'out of spec' for a car before

No worries you're still ahead of the game by not pumping the tires to maximum lol. But yeah the calculator I posted a few posts ago is pretty handy for these nonstandard fitments.

So the OEM PSI for my car is 38 front and 36 rear on the 225/40/19 and 255/35/19.

I recently switched to 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 and the calculator is saying 36 front and 33 rear now. I always thought you had to increase the pressure when going down to smaller sidewall tires?
