What name have you given your Stinger?

I named mine Kira...not sure how it came out, maybe because it kinda rhymes with Kia or Korea. This is my first Kia. My previous 3 cars were a 99 corolla named coraline. We were together for 11 years, but she was just getting to needy for oil so I had to dump her, a 2011 sonata named Sonya, she was in an accident and unfortunately did not make it past 5 years, and a 2015 Sonata named Sarah. I thought Sarah will be my long term, but I met Kira and that's all she said. Funny thing... my wife says, I don't look at her the same way I stare at cars hahaha. She did say the stinger looks definitely like me.

That would be a compliment. I see that you have a penchant for naming based on car model names. Funny. Around here we've named cars based on color mostly. Our 15 passenger Ford Club wagon was named "The Great White", and our daughter, when she started to drive, used "him" as her main transportation, renaming "him" "Bruce", because it seemed to fit. So, "Bruce, the Great White" was how it got listed when we sold it. My Voyager was sometimes referred to as "CLIVE", for "cute little indigo van". And prior to that our Dodge Shadow was named "CLARK" by my wife, for "Cute Little Red Kar". My son's first car was a Corolla, called "Little Red", for the same reason.

My youngest was sad that I had to trade in my old Subaru because he knew that I liked it so much. I was talking to him on the hands free on my way back from buying the Stinger and he told me that he had a name for the car. "Surge" He knew that the car was blue and Surge was a powerful LEGO Bionicle figure. It seemed fitting.

Lots of names mentioned already on this thread originate with kids. I love it. Surge is a great name for a Stinger! My car surges every time I drive it. And we all know that the "surge" is most impressive.
