What is your current miles? Noticed anything out of ordinary?

25000kms / 15500mi in 7 Month - I had some weird Audio issues that fixed itself and never came back - I pulled on the door handle quite hard to Close the door (heard a crack while pulling). After that almost every Speaker was dead, only the middle one in front worked very very quietly (with the Audio on 45 it was bearly hearable) . I did a 1 hour drive like that, parked the car for one night and every thing is fine.
And one time all Speakers on the right side where dead. It fixed it self after restarting the car twice.

other than that I think every thing is perfect, Love the car :D

I had the speakers go wonky a couple times (once no sound from the front door speakers, once no audio at all). I pressed the little black reset button on the piano black section (above?) the radio controls and I haven't had the speakers go screwy since. The only thing it does now is sometimes the car won't recognize the phone as being capable of sending Bluetooth audio, but this is once in a while. Pressing the reset button or letting the car sit for a long time fixes it. Not sure if the car or the phone is to blame...technology :S

I've had exactly one Bluetooth connectivity failure. It was the phone, because hitting the reset button, and stopping and starting the car did not solve it, but rebooting my TracFone did.

5k in, trunk rattle looked at "fixed" during harness recall. I still have a little noise on big bumps but not too bad. It could be the spare tire I suppose, may have to look at it. Bought it in early October and the honeymoon is far from over. Completely enamoured and look forward to driving every day and always catch myself looking back after parking or admiring through the window at home.
that's funny coz I do the exact same whenever I park and I always find myself peeking over my window just to look at her... KIA really made a GORGEOUS head-turning car.

Thanks for the feedback folks!.. since I work close enough from work (2 miles) that I can literally walk over, the only real miles i've put on her was when I drove her to Philly )350 miles RTP and some local hwy miles. Currently at 800 miles and barely break 10 miles a week. So far, no significant issues to report. She's a solid car but of course, there will always be one of those bad units out of a bunch.

2018 2.0 with 10000 mile and the glass sunroof jumped off the tracks the other day without warning or any obstruction. Dealer says it is a complete failure and still figuring out how to deal with it as it is bent and twisted out of alignment.

"How to deal with it." Seems simple to me, reinstall a new sunroof. Rather than farting around wasting tech time trying to find an easy fix, just replace it. But hey, what do I know about specific percentages of repairs deeming a part scrapped rather than reworking at an unknown and high cost ;)

6300 miles and all I got to say is I am glad I didn't get the 5.0 stang. I wish the stinger had an extra 100 HP then it would be perfect!!! so far no issues

10 months. 26,000 miles.
Problems:
  • I have come down with the hatch-rattle. (Last time I was in, the service manager said "yup" - he knows about it because the owner/son(s) have Stingers and they know that Kia's original fix was BS / they have it figured out). So it will be fixed this week when I'm in for an oil change.
  • Maybe 3-4 times, start the car and the audio was dead. Just dead. A/V says radio/Bluetooth is on and channels display, but nothing. Have to leave the car parked/off for 10-15 minutes, then fire it up... then it's fine. Weird.
  • I don't know if it's a "problem" or a "glitch", but I think the auto-open hatch is trying to outsmart me. Maybe it is smarter, but I have no idea when it will open or not.
  • Twice this winter the front sensors were "blinded". Surprisingly, it wasn't even in heavy snow. Not a real problem though. I don't rely on computerized micro-nannies to take care of me, plus the car warned me it was confused.
  • I posted at-length about this but... I have paint problems - that issue on the edge of the hood near the windshield that Kia claims "someone" pulled the wipers up improperly. That problem that Kia tells me "tough shit" about. That simple blocking-and-tackling (paint) that Kia d dn't get right on this otherwise great first-model-year car. But no - I'm not pissed about it.... Yes - yes I am. I'm hoping my gear-head brother and I can repair it... but I shouldn't have to.
Mechanically, the car has been perfect. I have had no problems whatsoever with engine, trans., drive-train, interior, brakes, etc.

I've noticed with the hatch, if your car is unlocked it won't open automaticly anymore!
and I think if the car is parked/Standing still, but is in gear and some one want to open the hatch, the only opiton to get it open is to put it in park or/and use the button on the inside (not quite sure yet )

9300 miles
brake shudder
creaky doors when turning or going up driveways and such

Other than that, it's fantastic.

2k miles on a 2019 GT, no problems so far that I know of. Haven't experienced any creaking or rattles. The only weird thing I've noticed is that my exhaust note changed a bit around 1800 miles and my butt dyno says I lost some throttle response at the same time. Could be that the sound changed with a little carbon build-up and I'm just imagining it taking more effort to get moving. Or maybe a kid shoved a potato up one of my pipes.

Update: The KIA Tech had a look and deemed the sun roof unrepairable, so KIA is going to replace with a new unit under warranty. The bad news is that there are no available sun roof's in inventory anywhere so it is back ordered from the factory. Could be weeks if not months. Wish me luck!

32000KM - 13 months

1. first day ownership had mood lighting issue - Fixed, came unplugged from the factory
2. hatch rattle - fixed.
3. driver side booster abnormal wearing - Fixed, KIA replaced the worn leather piece.
4. Rear seat - leather seats not installed properly from factory (could see the white frame through the gaps) - Fixed, KIA adjusted cushions
5. On going speaker fade issue - brought in about 4 times now and the tech cant seam to recreate the problem, so i will keep on, with the hopes that it will happen when they take it for a test drive.

Thats pretty much it for issues from the factory - There are other issues, but that is dealer related.

Zero issues besides the stuff people complain about. Trunk rattle (cant hear it over my drone anyways :) ), brake rotor issues (had them replaced already).
