So, you're going to return the car at lease end? That was one of the two factors that made me lease to begin with: I thought that at the end of three years I'd likely want the newer Stinger. (the other factor was the huge lease incentive at the time). When we had enjoyed the car for nearly three months I was reading on here about the buyout, and realized how much in lease rent we would save if we paid off the lease now: and the first factor was no longer a factor: I did not care what other goodies and changes Kia made to the Stinger three years hence: I liked my car thoroughly as-is: a newer car was not going to change that enjoyment. And so it has proven.
But sure, if you like to change out cars often, I see no reason to finance or even less, pay cash up front. The privilege of leasing has a payment: so be it. And then you always have a brand new car. That is a very attractive way to go.
The best deals shared on here right now are a few thousand off MSRP. I think the biggest one I saw for a 2021 was pushing $5K with some Kia incentive thrown into the dealer discount.
