What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

It appears prices for used Stingers continue to be high. Remember, what a car is worth, depends upon what people are willing to pay for it. If you like the car and are okay with the deal you received, that is all that matters. When I bought my car, there were several offered at similar or lower prices, but upon further evaluation, they were actually not going to sell them for the advertised price. Dealer add-ons, etc. were used to inflate the prices.

How many miles on it?
Thinking about trading my 2018 for a new one if the $ makes sense.
I have 2019 GT2 AWD and I got quote for 35k and 35.5k

34K miles.
That doesn't sound bad given the warranty. Had to negotiate a bit on mine. Ended up $37k before tax on a 37k mile Blue 2018 GT2 AWD. Paint not in the best shape. Wheel paint had curb rashes. Feel like I overpaid lol.

2020 gt1 AWD, dark blue, 12k miles. One owner, mint condition, 36.5

2020 GT RWD - 11k miles, one owner, Grey exterior, black interior, 3.3 TT motor. Paid 32k.

Got 2018 GT2 RWD in May when the market was even worse. Low miles (mid 20s) and not too many cosmetic imperfections for $38k (selling price), so just over $40k OTD. Not too bad considering other GT2's with even more mileage were averaging low to mid 40's selling price.

Was looking for a newer Stinger…found a 22’ GT1 with bout 9k miles for $47k…I thought it was a little high considering I’ve seen a few others for less that price but not in the color I wanted, plus it was AWD, so…hmm yea, I took it.

On January 2, I purchased a new 2023 Stinger GT2 RWD Snow White Pearl with red interior for 30k OTD plus a 2021 Sonata Limited with 16,000 miles in excellent condition. I think the price was pretty good for the FL Space Coast area considering there was almost no inventory. Some end of the year sales target may have helped. Back in 2021, I originally wanted a new G70, but wound up with the Sonata because it had newer technology. I planned to keep the Sonata three years, but decided to sell early because of the downward trend in used car prices.

Why didn't you just buy the g70 to begin with? The tech on the 2023 isn't much different I don't think.

The short story is that I like having a massive cargo area, the longer wheelbase is more relaxing on long trips and provides useable rear leg room, and I prefer the more classic style of the Stinger to the larger grill and squinty headlights of the G70. The G70 is sportier and more luxurious, IMO.

The longer story is that I started looking in early December for used Stinger GT2 to tide me over until the all new 2024 Mercedes E 450 and AMG E 53 sedans were available, but the local inventory dried up (except for one with a loud, buzzy aftermarket exhaust). Then the local new Stinger GT2 inventory dried up, and I resigned myself to getting a G70 (definitely still a great choice). On Saturday December 31 I was about $500 apart from a new G70 3.3T deal, when my Stinger showed up in the local inventory (on both the local dealer website and kia.com). I bought it on Monday January 2.

Got my 2018 GT1 AWD with 52k miles in October. With taxes, tags and fees I ended up paying $35k. Based on what I saw when looking that was pretty close to what every other dealer was selling them for.

22 GT1 AWD, Ceramic Silver w Black Int. Traded in my Sentra, owed $3,000, trade in value was $9500 and had 80K miles lol, took the trade in since my Sentra was worth like $5k max, Stinger itself was $46K w/ 5,500 miles on it, from an Dodge dealership, someone traded in this stinger for a Hellcat. Ended up getting it for $41K with taxes and fees out the door.
