I've searched the forums for days traying to find a similar problem. I recently got the JB4, Injen intakes, snorkels and HKS plugs installed and have been exploring the different maps in the JB4. I even went to map 4 with some E85 and 93 octane fuel. When I let off the throttle after punching it I get this sound that sounds like a short trumpet note or the sound of a chair scraping on a wooden floor after you get up from the dinner table. I get it a lot on map 3 and 4 and not so loud on map 1 and 2. It's not the whisssshhh from the intakes. Is this turbo flutter?? I don't have an aftermarket exhaust or BOVs yet but will those mods relieve some backpressure from my turbos and reduce what I'm thinking is flutter?

Get a video of it doing it for us internet mechanics to diagnose

I will try to get it on video

I'll say BOV vent sound, with an open filter element intake you should hear it more anyways.

Do a good pull and slowly let off, see if it makes the sound. Then do another pull and let off quickly and listen.

Also check clamps at the turbo, after a couple of heat cycles they can come loose after an install.

The clamps are all secure. I'll try to get a video of some pulls when it stops raining out here.
