Well I finally got tired of that coolant smell so I brought it in to find out what the issue is just hoping its covered under warranty.

My money's on "it's normal".

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
And the problem was a defective water pump was leaking coolant this is so good to hear bc I still had my Injen intake still hooked up so no issues. They gave me an rental bc they have to order the part in.
Another "left the car there" post. Why leave the car at all, when they can't work on it yet?

Because some dealerships actually want to take care of their customers. It’s better to stop the car from possibly causing damage because of a defective part, rather than send the customer on their way and risk more damage happening because the customer didn’t come back in as soon as the part became available.

That sounds nice. But all the stories about cars damaged while sitting on the lot, waiting: I would rather keep it home. I'm not going to drive it any further than it takes to get it home. Of course, if the car had to be towed to the dealership, you're pretty much stuck leaving it there, and hope for the best.

Wow. But you never lost any coolant in terms of the reservoir level nor saw any coolant puddles on the ground, eh?

Nope it was weird the odor was strong but when they got in the air they showed me the pump leak

This same scenario is happening to me. The coolant level has always held steady at the low point. I filled it once to full and within a week was back to the same spot but never goes lower. Had been like this for 2 years. Anyone else experience this? What was your conclusion?
