VIBRATION UNDER ACCELLERATION AT HIGHER SPEEDS

Kevin,

A tune won't just make your tires go bald if you "baby the car." Michelin's warranty on tread life is 20,000 miles, if you feel they went bald early then I'd make a claim. But were you rotating the tires, balancing the wheels, maintaining correct pressure? Sorry if I sound incredulous but those tires are straight bald and I'm not sure how you didn't notice sooner. Those are shot!

I can’t even imagine what would have happened if I beat the crap out of the car!!!!!
You would have got 4-7K miles out of the rear tires, that's what.

The Michelin warranty is halved for the rear tires with a staggered setup. That means that you pushed a good thousand plus miles beyond the warranty.

That doesn't change your chagrin, but it does let Michelin off any hook: their product performed according to warranty. Anyone expecting Michelin to make good on tires that have been worn out faster than 15K miles has to simply "drive the damn car; don't try and stand it on its bloody ear". :D But if you do that, you'll get 15K plus miles out of them. I got over 18K out of my rear tires and over 22K out of the fronts. My LF tire had tread lifting on the outer edge. That was on me: I like to corner fast, and cloverleafs go to the right. :p

Yea, same here. My fronts look brand new to be honest ! It’s just the pro Tuner lights them up in 2-3 gear I am assuming. I can feel the car going side to side sometimes under acceleration. But, it is what it is

Experienced this same vibration today but it's definitely not my tires. Car was fully aligned a week ago and tires only have 1k on them. Interested if OP is still experiencing anything after replacing his tires.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Sorry to hear that, my car is golden again! Super grateful. Tires where shot

I actually had a belt separation in the r rear! You might possibly have the same. It could be ever so slight, and it’s sometimes hard to detect visually if you don’t know what your looking for

Hey to all, recently noticed I am getting a disturbing vibration that is happening from 70+ under acceleration. I only have 15,800 on the car and it stays babied and in the drive way most of the time. This is crazy because it's got me really concerned on what it could be at the worst. Car is upgraded with PRO-Tuner and full Eibach Kit.

Anyone else have any issues like this? I am like, No way has a rear half shaft been bent at this point, but this is what I am speculating by the feel. I am a car guy and have lots of experience with cars, just seeing if anyone else has had a similar issue on here. Car is 2018 GT-2 RWD... BABIED!!!!!!!
I have a 2019 k900 same driveline Kia and Michelin have replaced 24 tires do to vibration no change now have perelli p0 no change factory rep coming out to inspect 180 days out of service to date 21k on car
