THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!

@Daniel @ K8 Stinger Store any info if these are a direct fit on the '22 AWD? For now, I was thinking about swapping the downpipes only and take care of the rest of the exhaust later. My thought is that the EVC on the factory exhaust is similar to the Jun BL in that swapping the down and midpipes shouldn't interfere at all.

David here,

We do make sure to update not only our website, but the forum product page that you are commenting on right now, with the compatible years and models, once we confirm compatibility. If you scroll to the top of this thread, it will indicate in the description compatibility on the 2018 to 2022 stinger 3.3T models. This information coincides with what we have on the website also confirming fitment. You should not have any issues whatsoever with the installation of this product on your 2022 stinger AWD

Hi Daniel! I have a 2018 Stinger GT2 RWD, and recently ordered the JB4, HKS Spark Plugs, HPS Intakes, ADD W1 BOV's, and the Borla S Type Cat Back Exhaust. I was also interested in the Jun Bl catless secondary downpipes, but am running into 2 issues. First I've heard that the Borla cat-back is one of the louder exhausts for the stinger and if I add the downpipe I don't want to raspy of a note or drone. Secondly, I've read some forums saying that if you pair the JB4 with a secondary cat delete you may run into over boosting, limp mode, or CEL. I'd love to try out the Jun Bl downpipes but the stinger is my daily driver and I'm shooting for longevity. Do you know if ill run into any of those issues? Especially the over-boosting or limp mode. If you could get back to me id love some advice!

Hi Lane,

It sounds like you are off to a great start with your 2018 GT2!

The Borla Catback is one of the most aggressive catbacks on the market.

I personally love the sound of the Borla paired with secondary downpipes but sound is very subjective.

As far as overboosting goes, I have yet to hear an issue with the JB4 & secondary downpipes but perhaps someone else can chime in.

I hope this helped, please let me know if you have any additional questions, and feel free to message me at any time.

Any upcoming sales?

Thanks for the response, Daniel! I'll probably wait to have the mods I've purchased installed to see what kind of sound and power I'm making with the stinger before I order any downpipes. Do you know if ill make any significant horsepower gains with the downpipes if I get them, or does it lead more towards airflow and sound? After doing some more research I've seen some more people say that the JB4 will monitor my boost so I won't have any of the over boosting/limp mode problems as I stated. Also one more question! Do you drive a Kia Stinger yourself? And if so, what mods have you done to your car? I'm sure it's a plus working for the K8 store and driving a stinger, sure you might get some nice discounts lol.

I have NGT HFC (200 cell) primaries, Jun BL (catless) secondaries, Borla Catback and a JB4. Sound is loud. I added them on at stages as opposed to all at once. Once they carbon up the raspiness goes away. You may need EWG wires with the JB4. I got em. You can use those to adjust to the loss of the cats. Cheap fix. On a side note I love the sounds my car makes. But I understand it’s not for everyone. Also, the Stinger is my daily driver as well.

Glad I can help!

The secondary downpipes will give an increase in power, however, it won't be as significant as the gains from primary downpipes.

To answer your final questions, yes, I do own and drive a 2019 Ceramic Silver GT1 RWD and I absolutely love the car and all the great attention it gets, and yes, it’s pretty awesome and definitely a plus working for the K8 Store and driving a Stinger.

Have a wonderful day, and whenever you are ready you can message me any time and I will do my best to help you out.

Thank you for the response! I'll definitely look into those EWG wires, especially if I end up getting the downpipes.

Are the Jun bl secondaries worth it after adding the MBRP? What’s the upside besides sound?

There is increased airflow due to a wider diameter, and they get rid of the secondary cat. I'm no expert so I'd guess there is a small performance gain. For myself, and for your average "daily driver", I'd say the only benefit is sound - and that increase is quite significant. Daniel or David probably have a much better answer.

It sounds Glorious! IMO

I definitely think they are worth it. Increased airflow, less back pressure, more horsepower, better sound, these are all upsides to installing secondary downpipes which remove the catalytic converter‘s and allow for much more free flow which turbo vehicles prefer. At the end of the day, you’re not only increasing the performance, but you’re making the car sound much better as well.

This exactly, although you definitely will see an increase in performance, most do it for the sound. Thank you for your comment.

Definitely can’t argue this point. :)

Any chance these or the ARK secondaries will be going on sale for Black Friday?
