So. . Has anyone in canada used this app yet? I tried mine out today, even though its warming up i just wanted to check how it worked. I can say the remote start worked after the 3rd attempt. Locking/unlocking doors also worked but the climate controls are finicky. I don't even get the option to turn on heated or cooled seats for my fully loaded stinger.. But in the demo mode it offers that feature on a 2018 rio for gods sake. Also it says my car is black gt limited while its actually red lol. Anyone else missing that feature?

Ok, i work in a Kia dealership. In the option climate , look at the right of the word Climate and you will see a gray button. Swipe it on the right to switch it red and you will be able to use the climate controls. I have a Canadian GT model.

I use the app everyday, slow but works great. I only beef with it is the monthly report doesn’t do anything.

Have any of you had the experience with your car and UVO Inteligence finding out that the system does not work in the US? Kia contracts the Bell Canada mobile network for the cell service connection the system needs. Kia has decided not to incorporate roaming into their contract with Bell so when the car crosses into the US and the system trys roam, it will not connect to a US carrier. Accordingly, the system will not work. Kia in my opinion has very much miss-represented this feature. The remote start is tedious and ridiculously slow best. The service monitoring feature is all sizzle and no steak. Car find and remote open will be rarely employed. The Ford connect rival blows the doors off of this App. Kia you really missed the mark on this one. Wake up and realize that your customers drive their cars into the US and expect their car's features to work the same way they do in Canada.

You're right, it showed up in my email inbox, and it shows up in the app now too!

Mine now shows a red Stinger in the UVO app, so that's an improvement. No Monthly Health Report of Driving Information Report, though.

I park in an underground garage, so it’s completely useless to me. Not a criticism of the system itself per se, but it is very reliant on the strength of the signal.

Still a lot longer than a traditional remote start but much better than before and the unlimited range is nice.

I totally agree! App launch time is considerably faster and once the app is loaded, it is quicker to use. I can initiate a remote start in under 30 seconds from app launch.
